@MegaRay
You were supposed to infer that.
Come on guys. What's with the down votes? He's right. All we have to go on are these tweets from some supposed journalist. Let's just take a breath and wait to see the game with our own eyes. Everything will be fine.
@n4f
Yes.
Here's the problem. The last generation isn't over yet. He tries to gloss over that. I would remind him that the PS3 hasn't even hit the $200 mark yet. It's very possible that it could overtake the Wii. Whatever, mine and his, are opinions. What is fact is that that generation is very much ongoing, so you can't really declare a winner yet.
@Bdub2000
My bad. I'm just seeing your reply. I know my response wasn't the most direct, and required a bit of inference as to my point. The point I was making is that it is too simplistic to look at the $1.1 billion loss the parent company took and say that puts PS in danger of being sold. In fact, Sony is now more reliant on the PS brand as they look to get out of these other markets which have been costing them money. That's why they said they're investing ...
@Melman
He probably blocked you for blowing his inbox up with your rantings, like you've been doing mine. Since you like to discuss the content of private conversations, in public, I'll go ahead and paste one that you sent to me. It runs counter to your claim to be so tired of fanboyism:
"Ironically I am out of bubbles :o)
My point is that the argument being made is a small one. I had both consoles in my home at the same time being played...
@Melman
So, you're tired of articulating and typing it, but you want us to spend 9 minutes watching it. Well, I'm glad I didn't, now that you've somewhat articulated your point. It sounds like a problem on your end of conveniently oversimplifying, and failing to understand, the arguments being made. We all know it boils down to the games, but no one is saying that the games don't matter, are they? So you, and others, are arguing a point that wasn't in...
@majiebeast
Exactly. There's plenty of things to look at when buying hardware, but don't lie, or delude yourself, about the points that aren't in the favor of your preferred brand. Just say, "I like ________ game." I have yet to see an effective comeback for that. Drop the spin, though. Then, the next time we get an article about, yet more, differences in a multiplat, it will be deluged by comments from Xbox fans wondering why we're still talking abo...
What is your video, and why is it important for people to take 9 minutes to watch it? It is a pet peeve of mine when people try to make an argument by saying something like, "watch this video." If it were that great, and you learned something, you would be able to articulate an argument based on that information, instead of just saying to watch the video. I don't know what your point is supposed to be, or what side you're coming down on, but it's pretty ridiculous that y...
Exactly right. MS investors are the ones talking about dropping Xbox. http://www.washingtonpost.c...
So which investors are pressuring Sony to drop out of the console game, like the investors pressuring MS to drop out of the console market? http://www.washingtonpost.c...
@mediate-this
What Fishy Fingers said. You guys make too much out of the overall profits/losses of the parent corporation. Business is a lot more intricate than that. MS is a profitable company, right? That isn't stopping two influential investors from pushing the new CEO to drop the Xbox division. http://www.washingtonpo...
Then I guess it's a good thing for Sony that they're leading in the US, too. And the rest of the world.
@Muffins
"Its misleading...it makes it sound like 100 games are actually coming out this year when we know good as hell that around 1/4 of them wont.....sorry for letting you know the truth..."
I'm pretty sure everyone here knows what the word "planned" means, Muffins.
Muffins, it's only as difficult as you make it. How many games have ever been guaranteed to come out at a specific time?
"I'm pretty tired of articles discussing power. It's gotten to the point of being ridiculous. We get it. But ultimately, no matter what fanboys want to yell and scream, games make or break a system, not graphics."
He complained, having failed to read the article which makes the same point. The ironic thing is, the article itself just ignores the specs, in the end, making ridiculous apples and oranges comparisons to past systems, and assuming that MS will be ...
@MorePowerOfGreen
Yes, it was fast damage control, and if you had bother to read the article, you would know why.
With the prepaid credit cards, some people just have bad credit, and having a credit card is more convenient, or even required, in a lot of cases.
I have gone on some journeys based on one Game Stop looking up availability of a product at another Game Stop.
Wow. They weren't kidding when they said that all of our jobs are being outsourced to India. They're even outsourcing the MS shills!
