Now if only they'd come out with a sequel for Luigi's Mansion. That game rocked but was too short.
I'd heard that the prices of the players had gone up since HD-DVD was put out of its misery. I'm still not going to get one until they're under 100 bucks
They're going to turn off the internet.
After doing a wee bit of calculating. Microsoft charges a ridiculous 111.79 for their hard drive case and 91 cents per GB of storage space.
20GB x 0.91 = 18.20 + 111.79 = 129.99
120GB X 0.91 = 109.20 x 111.79 = 220.99
If you extrapolate this data, they'd be charging around 340 dollars for a 250GB drive. That's disgustingly too much.
While I'll admit that the 20GB drive is a bit small, I haven't run out of drive space just yet. I'm extremely thankful t...
Are all of these effwads getting into the industry just to say "I was the first to play this!"?
I'll make sure I take their reviews with a grain of salt.
If you ask me Sony is dredging up these rumors, not 360 gamers.
I think the folks down at Famitsu need to wipe a bit of the brown off of their noses.
With the current Raster or Ray Casting system developers are able to cheat the system. If they were to start using Ray Tracing you'd have to be prepared to expect less from games for a while. These losses would take place in the form of model quality, frame rates, polygon counts etc.
Ray Tracing is able to create very nice images, but the lovely ray traced images that you see are not rendered at a sub-second rate. They take minutes to hours to render.
wow is one of only a few video games that have an audience ranging from 12 to 83.
Edit: Actually it's probably the only video game that has that type of range.
heh, this guy almost made his argument seem level headed.... ok.. no he didn't. This is obviously a rant from a guy who's had one of his favorite classes nerfed and now he's gonna stick it to the man.
As much as I'd like to give an opinion based on knowledge of the original Fallout series, I can't. I never played them.
However, Bethesda purchased the rights to make a sequel. They could have simply made their own post apocalyptic universe. I mean Bioshock did that and did very well. Bethesda has enough of a following with their Elder Scrolls series that they could pull it off and have a very successful game. Especially with the acceptance that new IP has been getting latel...
I hope they get a copy to stick in the PS3 at my local EB so I can check it out. There's no other reason for me to own a PS3 and I'm definitely not going to get the PS3 until the actual game is released (and it turns out to be a good online game).
Oh Nintendo you king of innovation. New colors. Wow. I can't wait to see what they think of next!
It's a lie!!! Everyone knows Microsoft has no idea when Live will go down. ;)
I've never seen a BSOD in Vista. I have heard that if you use cruddy versions of drivers it will occur though.
I have a question. Did Polyphony make it possible to steer the cars using the Sixaxis functionality?
Until you are able to view the reflections of one car in another they will never be photo-realistic. Raster engines are only capable of so much at the moment.
That said I know that they are not direct screen grabs from the game. I really wish that the marketing teams would stop doing this. Forza2 did the exact same thing, showing pictures that had anti-aliasing which was too perfect.
I'd rather see actual in game screen shots compared to what they have been showing.
Now it's going to conflict with FallOut3!! Too much rpg at one time!
heh it seems everyone is thinking that this guy is taking a lot of liberty with the term "artist rendering".
