I also enjoyed the demo. Not the biggest RTS fan myself, though like any self-respecting "gamer" I have played a bit of StarCraft. The game was a lot of fun! The controls take a bit of getting used to, but b4 u know it youre building bases and starting wars like nothing.
Also, the CG cut scenes were some of the best I have seen. It gave the game a feeling of purpose, unlike some RTS I have seen that just seem like battle after battle, with nothing in between.

Look, its quite simple. GS is a BUSINESS. For them to stay open for a midnight launch, they have to pay people to keep the stores open. And if the game doesnt have enough pre-orders by a certain date, then there is no midnight launch. What would they want to lose $$$ for ?

Perhaps you will actually persuade somebody. The problem is LIVE is so deeply entrenched already, its a hard sell. Your friends are on it, everyone at work is on it, etc. I think thats a bigger factor than price. But that works both ways, for Sony or MS.
And while this might help Sony look competitive, its actually a bit misleading when they dont talk about LIVE's more expanded feature set. Not that I expect them to.

There isnt anything new to talk about with this whole Killzone 2 stuff. At this point, I will leave it up to the actual game release to see how much people enjoy it.
Thats why sales numbers in a way, are all you can really go by after all is said and done. Sales numbers are not necessarily an accurate barometer of how good something is, but with games its more applicable than movies or muisc, since you have to invest effort into it, rather than passive enjoyment.
