Is this the new COD? I see all the hipsters degrading it and calling it "mediocre". I forgot most of you have played the entire thing.
Tired of all these devs and publishers indicating sequels and DLC before the original game releases. It's beyond stupid to me. If you're going to rehash games and release planned DLC as opposed to putting it on the original disk, at least have the sense to wait till after the game is out to take our money or belittle our intelligence.
Thank goodness I have avoided this game and will continue to do so. BF4 is still a mess and DICE is taking shots at Ubi... I doubt I...
I agree... I want all these updates too but I don't get all these who complain about what's NOT on the PS4. Sure it needs to be better and should be updated more frequently... but do people really have nothing else to do with their PS4 than worry about what's not there?

I wonder if this playlist will have more people than the "killstreak free" modes in COD. Kind of the same thing. It is odd that the gameplay/movement mechanics of the pilots is more innovating than the the titans themselves.
Looks great, loved all the Mega Man games and this one is certainly in the same spirit as those.
The dash technique is awesome to me and feels like a true "upgrade/addition" to the original Mega Man metagame.

Mario has the american/golf outfit... I hope some are palette swaps like Link having the simple blue/red variants of his tunic from OoT. I definitely thought it was cool that one was dark link.
Dr. Luigi/Mario would be cool alternate costumes or if one for Sonic was being Knuckles but with the same abilities.
8 "costumes" would be a lot... maybe 1/2 costumes with 6 color swaps is appropriate.

I agree... got the Platinum in one 3/4 hour setting... very short game. They rehashed the "go find all the items on the map, but hey, we've marked EXACTLY where they are" technique, which belittles the exploration of an open world.

I agree. It's not that 60 FPS makes a game great, it's that once you play a great game at 60 FPS (TLOU/Metro) you really notice the difference when you go back to a 30 FPS game.
Especially for first person shooters. I played Ghosts and the Destiny Beta back-to-back just to see and thankfully Destiny is "slower" gameplay-wise so the 30 FPS didn't affect it too much but even with a game like Ghosts you can literally FEEL the fluidity of the 60 FPS helpin...
It's a chicken and egg thing... the profits of made off casual gamers is what, well, funds game dev. Sure Bayonetta is a great game to some but it's a very devout "hardcore" fan base. The sequel couldn't be made without the help of a big-time publisher (Nintendo).
Assassin's Creed makes a lot of money from casuals, hence a lot of sequels, but also the success of that franchise (I believe) directly helps the dev of games like Child of Light and Vali...

What's more important is the degree people get and how they can problem solve, plan, and be detailed oriented. Once you get your first job (career job) GPA and curriculum have no value at all because experience trumps all.

How much better does this game look on PC than PS4/X1? It looks amazing to me on my PS4, up there with Infamous and TLOU graphics-wise. Which for my console, is pretty good. The lighting of the Metro Redux games is incredible, they do their different environments well.
I don't really know how detailed it would look on a good rig. Can you go past 1080p and 60 FPS @ ultra?

OT: $150 is too much, make it $100 that way whether you get the original X1 or new SKU it's always the same price for consumers. No need to punish consumers for wanting options or not having enough money for kinect at a given time that they may have later.
