No one thinks about the "climate" of the games industry in a given month. Destiny is HUGE for PS4 and PS3, they're not going to release another semi-big AAA game on either platform as that might be competition for their big horse (even if it's small).
They released a first party game (battle royale) as that is a pretty big game that doesn't compete (genre-wise) with Destiny, releasing this game won't detract from PS3 Desti...
It's good that all we hear from any rep from Sony is: "we know people want it, we like the support it has, it's still being worked on". That's almost every comment on TLG since 2012/2013. I think in the last few years (since the PS4's dev kicked up) Team ICO has been working on moving from PS3 to PS4 dev (they did this with Shadow of the Colossus - PS1 dev to PS2).

You sound like me LOL, I always grab my games at the mall near my work on my breaks. No waiting for me after work, want to get home and throw it in. Not have to worry about traffic.

Your clinging to straws while drowning if you're hoping the average gamer thinks enough to buy secondhand or to wait... I agree that it would make Activision aware of changes that need to be made.
I'd rather games be wholly exclusive to one platform than force us, the gamers, the have multiple systems just to have access to all content equally.

I have a fear, for MS owners, that over the course of time the content might get bigger/more exclusive. I don't think this would happen but what if Sony got an entire planet's worth of missions for a year? That's significant. Or if there's a map pack of 5+ maps that comes to PS4 for a year, that's a good amount of maps to not have for a ye...

At least a pinball game can make 1080p on the X1, and at least a mini pinball game doesn't have problems with eSram.

The plethora of games that perform better on the PS4 says otherwise. If it was "easy" then it would logically follow that the PS4/X1 versions of games would look similar given the same dev time.

1) I've never had a sound problem in 10 months with my PS4. I've used three different TV's, 2 headsets, 2/3 HDMI cables, never had one problem with sound (moves/decorating is the reason for so many TV's and cables)
2) Never noticed any particular problems with visuals, my TV continually shows a 1080p output when playing.
My guess is that you have a bunky HDMI outlet/cable (remember the issues at launch week people ...

LOL I understand what you mean by reading my post. But what I actually mean is that it bothers me that the description of this game is basically the standard for any open world action game. The gameplay itself doesn't seem to distinguish it as "it's own thing".
It's like... "Sunset is your typical action game! Fun and colorful!" And then someone defending it has to tell me how "crazy or insane or wild or of...
My struggle:
This + Ori = entices me to buy a X1, both look amazing and seem like fun games.
But... Sunset OD does look a lot like other games, as Budobear stated. The grinding movement is similar to Infamous SS, the guns are similar to Ratchet and Clank (same dev I know but I'm not wrong for wanting more "branching")... there are others.
I struggle with how basically I can sum up Sunset by saying "it's a third person action...

Thank goodness I put a TB in my PS4 for all the DLC, indies, and download only games I have. Also doesn't hurt for all the good PS+ games we get.
Let's see... Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Captain Toad, SSMB (four months left, four games) I am interested in all of them. Might not buy all four each month but before Q1 of 2015 I'll buy them.

Got the blue one Tuesday... I don't really care about the color as much as I enjoy being able to tell the difference between the controllers. It's nice having 4 controllers, all different colors and if something happens or is wrong or is better than the others I am able to notice just by the color.
Had all black controllers for the Nintendo GC and it was annoying having to pick up 1/2 semi broke controllers to find the one good one.
