Funny... I think 2014 is just as hard to find a GOTY as 2015 is shaping up to be. 2014 because of a lack of games and 2015 for the sheer number of games being released.
New Zelda, new Halo, UC4, The Order, Treyarchs first next gen COD, No Man's Sky... I mean I have no idea how the order comes out of a group like that.
I understand your point of view but I have had bubbles added and then removed for no reason and based off my comments I can find the 2/3 that lost me the bubbles and all were "nice job for MS".
There is undoubtedly a tie between favoritism of MS and the amount of bubbles someone has. I am glad you've been here long enough to have an embarrassing amount of bubbles but to say that there isn't a strong anti-MS movement here is ignorant at best.
I think the next game will be a multi-view game that jumps around in time.
Some early characters paths from TLOU1 (make Tess have some greater impact than being the simple sacrifice she was). Have some new characters separate from TLOU1 enact their part in 2033 at the same time of Joel/Ellie, maybe their Fireflies in FL/TX that heard about what had/was happened/happening in the West and they do their thing.
The third and last part could be 10+ years after 2033 ...
You know how often I thought about Joel/Ellie after the end of TLOU? A hell of a lot more than I've thought about other gaming characters. That's a testament to the perfect ending of that game. And yes it is perfect, that doesn't mean it's "final".

Bubble system is the real drawback of any "pro" sony movement people see. I'm sure there are multiple people who have lost 1/2 bubbles for being pro MS sometimes, but not often. But that's the way of the world...
N4G is what the community makes it, I enjoy the atmosphere. It's 10+ mil for PS4 and <5 mil for X1 at the moment. I'd say the environment of the console gen affects the "pro" sony stuff here more than N4G itself.

My guess is it's a Game Freak decision... Game Freak has more to do with Pokemon in general, Nintendo is involved in the games but really the anime, cards, etc.
Game Freak would probably want to have a huge spotlight on their "baby" they've been keeping quiet. I am honestly thinking this is a Wii U game releasing this winter, shocking reveal!
I agree with you in the sense that I would (and hope others do too) make sure I knew what I had/needed before purchasing.
We're both naive to think majority of people will buy OR with full knowledge of what's needed. IMO most people would simply buy it for the sake of VR, then bitch if it doesn't work as well as they want. Never bothering to take some responsibility for not knowing the specs needed.

In all honest there aren't a lot of first part IP's for Sony, or MS for that matter, at the current time. PS4 exclusive first parties:
1) Infamous SS
2) Knack
3) TLOU RM
4) Killzone SF
5) Resogun
And... I am sure there are other "exclusive" indies but focusing on first party or second party big PS4 IP's, these are honestly the only 5 I can think of.

I've had numerous people come and say "what a pretty image/painting, what is it?".
