I've seen 3/4 Purple engrams playing, yet to run across a gold one.
This bothers people... why? I don't have an issue with it as the random drops I get are few and far between while playing the game.
I've gotten every Gold Chest... it takes forever to earn a decent amount of Crucible or Vanguard marks... I am saving Motes of Light and Strange Coins... Strongly disagree, I have maybe spent... 30 minutes a day the last 3 days and I get 6/7 blue engrams each time.
I've gotten 4 pieces of random legendary (purple engrams) equipment and guns. My Fireteam partner received a gold engram doing this.

Skywatch/sky keep on old Russia? That's where the spawn hive is. You go to earth patrol and move through the mothyards, then the lunar complex, then you spawn in the skywatch or keep (not sure). Go to the far(ish) left and you'll see a slimy/neon green thing on the side of a building

That's dumb, makes me regret wanting this game. Glitches like this ruin the experience for people who a) want to play the game fairly and the right way and b) ruins it completely for people who don't know how to do them.
Very annoying and makes me question the quality of their dev abilities. Seems stupid and ignorant to leave annoying glitches in a game from 10 years ago. They're probably too lazy to fix it.

Jesus the uninformed people in this article is astounding. The $500 mill investment was for a 10 YEAR PLAN. Destiny, this game, did not cost anywhere near $500 million and there is an interview with someone from Bungie where he laughs at the assumption that one game would cost that much.
Assuming the following: 10 year deal, $500 mill to make, 4 games, we can then conclude =
Fact #1 = $50 million a year
Fact #2 = $125 million per game

Just a nice surprise/break from whatever else you were doing. I enjoy doing the bounties for patrol missions on planets because I know I'll get a random public event that is usually pretty intense. They're a lot of fun
The more the happen the better IMO. You don't have to join them if you don't want to.
I love public events, one of my favorite part of the game. Although it is frustrating, doesn't happen a lot, when people join die and leave. It's like... "shit man! Come back and help me out!"

Yeah... my problem may be that I really enjoyed and fell in love with UC1 and Crash 1 when I played those for the first time. Therefore the sequels are "just more of the same" for me, not in a bad way, but the sequels never had the allure the originals did.
There's something about visiting a new world you love for the first time. It's great to go back and revisit them and the sequels are great, but that first time feeling, that's what wins for me.
I actually have it LOL, haven't played it yet.
I went from PS1 to Gamecube/Xbox so that's why I missed great games. I was very happy for the Jak and Ico/Shadow HD releases.

How'd you find that out? So regardless of my gun, if I am 22 and the enemies are 24, my gun is doing 50% less damage than it otherwise would? So even getting the higher (legend/exotic) gun won't change that 50% decrease?
