Yep that's what I do, I can't do level 28 by myself but I can do level 24 alone and I do those every day and that's how I've gotten over half of my shards.

Well, I can only speak for myself... but I've played COD MW1, WaW, MW2, and BO1. In those games, there's the prestige system that kept me going. Also, much more of a social FPS. I can talk and meet friends without having to "inspect" the players like I do in Destiny.

Argh I am finally level 27 and have gold/legendary gear. But damn it if it's not the hardest grind to find ascendant shards and energy's.
I love the game but now it's turning into an Animal Crossing game for me. There's no real quick/simple way to level up your character once you hit 25/26. It's becoming a daily chore/task to go and do the daily challenge for a shard, then go farm for helium or spirit blooms or relic shards... all that JUST to be a high...

Very upset at all the hate (or lack of love) this game has gotten by previewers. Was one of my most wanted exclusives for the PS4.
I still am buying it day one and am still excited for it. Love the graphics and the setting, I enjoy 3rd person shooters/adventure games so I am sure I will enjoy this.

Alright... X1 did better for one week/month in one area. The tides are turning! Please... All you proponents of the X1 make me laugh. Has no one had a basic economics class? Supply and demand? There was ZERO SUPPLY FOR CONSOLES IN CHINA. Therefore... demand was probably extremely high relative to other countries.
Assuming that you can also assume that because of the lack of supply that whatever the initial console release was, even if it was a PS3/360, would see initial success as it's literally the first console available for any Chinese to purchase.

This is what real RPG/MMO farming should be, farming for the spirit blooms and chests... not mindlessly drilling a black hole that creates engrams.
Once you hit Vanguard/Crucible ranks 2... you should have no problem buying purple guns and gear to raise your light level. Once I had my ranks where I wanted them, the only farming I need is for spirit blooms, helium, etc.
