Each expansion should do:
1) Add more playable areas to current planets (I.E. have a Earth map in say, the middle of a forest. Doesn't have to be connected to Old Russia but it should be able to be chosen when you select Earth)
2) Add new planets to explore that include 5-10 hrs of story content at a minimum
3) To coincide with 1 and 2, add a multitude of bounties (100+), gear, weapons, emblems, shaders (maybe custom shader option)

Gosh... I was only 14/15 or so in the days of PS2 domination. I don't remember what it was like but I remember there being a TON of PS exclusives (1st, 2nd, and 3rd party) and Xbox/Gamecube competing with 1st/2nd party only.
I honestly won't believe in "PS4 domination" ala PS2 era until major 3rd party devs begin releasing PS4 exclusives more often.

Yep, same here... I can do a couple a day if I plan it out but it's much easier with "real" friends. I find it very hard to even find two friends who I only know via PSN to sign on when they say they will.

I just don't understand how they have the time to devote 15 hours to beat this. Kind of disheartening because with a normal work and life schedule, there's no way I'll find 5 people on the same schedule as me who can all devote this amount of time.

Love platinums, makes me feel like a get good value out of my game because it adds like 10 hours or more playtime to an otherwise completed game.
I don't play a game intending to collect all trophies. But it's a nice goal to set after a playthrough or two.

This is an example of the broken loot system. You've done more than him, given more of your time to Bungie's game, and how do they reward you? With random sub-par things you don't need.
The fact is is that the "first person to 30" really is the first person who got the luckiest drops. Very sad.
Is raid Purple Gear better/higher ranked than the other Purple gear you can buy or win?
Silly article, it just lists the stats from the one person who hit 30. It took HIM 107 hours, HE played 26% of his time in the crucible, HE played the raid for 14 hours...
None of this might apply to the next level 30 person. I am sure there are people who play 75% crucible, do the raid a few times, and that's it and eventually they'll be a level 30.

I understand he put a lot of time in, time that others may not have, but to say he has "no life" is ignorant. I'm 27 years old, full time job, wedding coming up, multiple pets, etc... I have a full list of responsibilities. But I am able to play... 10-15 hours of gaming a week. Not sure if that makes me have no life but I am a high Destiny level and am playing through other games at the same time.

This is one of the things that makes the "farming spot" enjoyable and not an exploit.
Sure the loot is nice but I would say, in my experience, every 15 minutes you spend there one of these things happens:
1) Public Event
2) The doors to the left of where you stand and shoot bust open and majors/hallowed enemies start coming from there (and the cave... and the sky... and the fallen spawns everywhere)
TONS of fun and makes spending 30 ...
This game, Wolfenstein, and Child of Light are my darkhorses for GOTY this year (yes I know it's not out yet).

Honestly the first time, despite all people say about this game, that I've thought negatively about Bungie as devs.
How is this missed? There has to be coding that makes it read "motes" and not "shards". There literally is a requirement for some armor that doesn't exist LOL. No testers, devs, etc noticed this?

Hunter - Future War Cult material required is "Ascendant Mote", these don't exits and Bungie dev confirmed it's a bug.
If you're a Hunter, don't buy stuff from Future War Cult until they patch it.
So... 3 classes, 3 cults... dammit if I didn't pick a hunter... and pick Future War :(
Add more random loot chests that reward for exploring the world... make it easier to farm the rare materials needed for upgrading my guy.
Public events should be happening all the time if there's more than 4 people in an area, have the blue indicator always popped up on a screen and if 3 people all let out their ghost around it, THEN the event starts. They're so much fun but they're so rare to see except when I am farming.
