Better analogy: Think of it like this, Sony and MS are going to have a war, Sony brought a pocket knife, MS brought nukes...
4K blu ray is hardware not software bud.
Because streaming looks like crap. If you have no eye for quality go for the compression riddled streaming garbage. Any videophile would laugh (and cringe) at you and the streaming crowd.
Who cares about price? You have a friggin JOB!? Spend less than the price of two games more and you could have a WAY more powerful console. It is the peasants who hold back quality.
If you think that looks good wait until you see Scorpio at 2x the power. The Scorpio GPU is 6TF, add the Scorpio CPU to that number (what is the total then 8? 9 TF? compared to 4.2) and the Pro will look like garbage.
Weak. Scorpio is going to CRUSH this toy. Scorpio has a 6TF *GPU*. That is what everyone misses, add the better CPU to that GPU and you will have a 8-9 TF monster console (you do know the Scorpio has a CPU too wait until that is added to the 6 TF number, game over man, game over) .
No 4K TV. I would just rather have 60 FPS at 1080p with better AA, AO and AF, throw in a few more blades of grass while you are at it.
Streaming has downgraded quality. Disc versions aren't just good just because you can own them, they look better too.
So you rather have stuff release broken and unfinished to the point of being unplayable like all other games these days just to meet a date (basically a full price early access)? Some may not mind getting a broken game early just to spend hours online downloading patches (no internet and you are screwed altogether) but I find it rather annoying.
Gamers bitch if a game is delayed, and bitch if it doesn't work or is unfinished. You can't win. No Man's Sky is per...
It helps. It did for me.
Sorry dude but you are dreaming. The Scorpio blows away the Neo, just accept it. Sony blew it by making such a weak Neo console. Hopefully they will learn and stop being so damn conservative next time. Hopefully the next PS4 Neo2 or whatever will be a beast.
Well except for the few that were kept the same for parity sake like Unity, Mad Max, FO4 etc.
It was for me. Why would I want to buy a third party game that is the worst version? I DO notice the difference. So for me the PS4 was the easy choice. When the Scorpio releases I will buy all third party games for that instead of Neo. Again i want the best console version.
Actually don't they say the Scorpio's GPU is 6 TF? Since I assume there is still a CPU in there wouldn't the total be around 8TF or so?
I wish all of this nonsense would stop. I prefer the PS4 over xbox but still stuff like this is wrong. It just puts off which ever side is getting screwed. I didn't like the Tomb raider timed exclusivity for xbox and I am sure xbox players aren't happy about this Destiny thing. It sucks and wish they would not do things like this.
It shouldn't be about who moneyhats and snatches away third party content it should be about good first party exclusives as to w...
They can all go to hell for sucking up to microshaft's anti-consumer ways. Hope they choked on the moneyhat from MS. I won't buy this M$ table scrap. If they close then so be it, it is what happens when companies make BAD decisions.
Let me guess, they had extended time to port this and test it for a year but will still require a damn day one patch!
They should delay it and make it more powerful. Neo is too weak compared to Scorpio.
The thing that hit me first when playing it is that it is really different. The feeling and the way things work are not like anything I have played. I can see why many wouldn't like it and why others will. I think too many were expecting a space MMO or COD in space. My biggest disappointments were that so many things were cut like the real planetary physics and big creatures. Hopefully those will be added someday.
Sorry but streaming sucks. You own nothing, the PQ is downgraded compared to disc, it will blow your data caps sky high in countries that have it, and your connection needs to be top notch. Too many variables any of which would sink streaming for many of us. It is much more consistent and you get better quality buying/renting discs.
