Guess how DC runs with these features. Hint: 30 fps and not 24 cars and less physics.

Can you show me the evidence that thwy don't use this? What do these features mean? I suppose they don't use PBR too, right?

You mean like Sony showing in enginw of UC4 with awesome graphics running at 1080p and ultra smooth 60 fps? And then delayed to Spring 2016 and is actually just 30 fps. I take your ans is yes.

DC doesn't do much other than look pretty and runs at 30 fps.

The black screen is like 1 ms that cuts from one frame to the next. It's not even a loading screen.

In some cases, the frame rate is worst because the emulation forces v-sync while the original X360 introduces a ton of tearing. However, things like load speed and loading time are much faster as well as much reduced in pop-in. Also, you probably read it from DF, which highlighted the bad stuffs while negating the positive stuffs.

The Internet was much less accessible than it's today.

The lighting and shadows are pretty amazing. It's shadows everywhere, makes sense, and looks realistic.

VRAM stacking is true, but it's a feature that games would need to use. It's not automatic.

That solitaire crap has been there since Windows 8.

You mean advertising the feature in ads means the "next big thing"? Hmmm... I guess they should just say stream XB1 games to your PC.... oh wait that's exactly the ads. Show me where MS said it's the next big thing, or even implied? BC is a gimmick right?

You read my mind about The Orders.

Don't you know ND is the God of all developers? Heck, they even showed Uncharted 4 running at 1080p with a flawless 60 fps and stunning graphics.

Funny

Halo 5 at 720p demo = the final version will likely not reach 1080p.

RoTR at 1080p demo = the final version might not be 1080p.

uncharted 4 at 1080p demo = the final version will only get better.

Isn't the problem is also latency not just bandwidth. It's one thing that people said cloud compute doesn't work.

3860d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Of course not. It's an Xbox exclusive for the moment. Just wait until it's released on the PS4.

And here I thought it was the President of the Khronos Group that said that.

3865d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

It seems like you know the technology better than these people. I think you should let them know that, especially Neil Trevett, Vice President Mobile Ecosystem for Nvidia and President of Khronos Group. I mean what does an executive know about these engineering stuffs. It's not like servers costing several billion dollars to build are that powerful. Besides latency and bandwidth are a huge issue. Enough ranting. Let let me get back to playing this streaming game from the PS Now. It's p...

Kinda like that one E3 reveal with jaw-dropping graphics at a glorious 1080p and not a-single frame drop at a silky smooth 60 fps. What you now get is 30 fps and delayed until Spring 2016 and then just 2016.

3865d ago 16 agree44 disagreeView comment

That's ok. Underpromise, overdeliver. Better than showing flawless, fake 1080p and 60fps, delayed until 2016, and only hit 30fps.
