Well said Nike, Piracy has nothing but a negative impact on our beloved hobby. Bubbles to you bud.

Theres absolutely nothing good that can come out of this. All forms of piracy have negative effects on the industry pirated. We've seen this in film, music and gaming. Prices are raised, quality declines and people lose jobs. We as the consumers get hit the hardest with price hikes and decline in product numbers. With something like this, its only going to make the industry suffer more. By supporting piracy you are only becoming a tool in the destruction of your own hobby.

I agree with you there bro. While I don't really care too much about the spoilers, I do care about the fact that these 'theives' are getting what seems to be positive attention. While many may laugh at Microsoft's misfortune, piracy affects ALL gamers, across all platforms. BTW NZ, that AllBlacks game was the sweetness. Go NZ!

well if it had dark visuals and was 3D it would be pointless because the 3D wouldn't even be seen. And honestly, most things are converted from 2D to 3D, so thats a mute point.

Man, I really love it when developers are given free creative licence. It allows us to encounter new experiences, which is never a bad thing. This is looking awesome :P

Thats fair enough, they're both very different beasts, and I know many others who prefer the arcade racers over the sims like GT5. I personally would be getting GT5, mainly because I just cant enjoy open world racers, I love track racing. But hopefully, wallet permitting, ill pick up NFS later down the line.

@Major Jack Hoff
Maybe its because of the way you present your opinion? I mean, calling everyone fa**ots doesn't help your cause.

Looks like a real fun rental. I wouldn't buy it because I cant see how scripted events on track would be good for long term re-playability.I guess it also depends on numbers of tracks and number of cars. But looks like it would be hell fun for a few rentals.

I've never been overly excited about a racing game before, but hot damn this game has me foaming at the mouth. The lighting in the cockpit view is so freekin' impressive. The only downside to these videos is that i'm just not getting a sense of high speed, hopefully when the game is in hand it will come across a lot better.

I think Halo: Reach would have been great in 3D. It looks like a relatively bright game, and light colored visuals work a lot better in 3D than dark visuals do. Just look how bad the Last Airbender 3D was, you could barely make out anything.

"Nah, for the casuals who'd buy anything if it's deemed "popular"."

There actually is quite a bit of truth in that statement. While I don't think MS is marketing their product in that fashion, its certainly a true facet of consumerism. People want what the "jones" have, and therefore will buy what is new and fancy. Casuals wont know of the lag issues, all they will know is that its new, its from MS, and that it looks innovative. And...

What did I ever do to you that deserves such contempt? lol

I think games are are NOT of the devil. Surely that alone proves i'm not that hack.

Yeah, this looks like a winner. Downloaded games have really come a long way.

I agree. Uncharted 2 is pretty darn linear, but look how fantastically amazing (is that hyperbole? lol) that is.

Well thats fair enough, and I agree that they are accessible. I just wish the developers would try harder, rather than just slapping on a new coat of paint. It's almost like we have accepted complacency. But hey, i'm really just asking a question.

Well I understand that it is not a war simulator (although some would argue that definition), but it is a war game nevertheless.

I'm referring to the contemporary/historical war FPS, whether it be based on fact or fiction. I thought we were discussing CoD so I didn't feel the need to elaborate on the war game 'type' I was referring to.

A sidenote: And I didn't realize that a game not being a war sim excuses complacency.

Have they said if this is open world or not? I sure as hell hope not, we got enough open world games as is. Well, I guess if it is, I trust R* enough to make it good.

Yes, CoD has sold bucket loads, and I wont comment on reviews because they are a strange thing, but why is it that people get excited over THESE games? Why do they sell so many when they seem all so similar? What is that draws a person to CoD year after year? Why so excited over small changes?

I'm not criticizing those who play and enjoy these games, but I just want to know 'why' the excitement.

Alot of my mates play it (MW1/MW2/COD etc) purely for the competitive aspect. Many of them breezed through the SP, but got onto MP as soon as possible. Most of them would buy Black Ops even if it only came with new maps, new guns and few cosmetic changes; look at how many brought the MW2 map DLC even at that absurd price.

As for me, I prefer my game for the story and overall experience. Most of these 'War' games however, have become stale and formulaic. There just d...

I agree with the fact it has alot of potential. I disagree with the software aspect, none of it is real interesting thus far.

Cant say I have, its all 'Move' To be honest, I find this unfortunate. I would prefer if there was some solid competition, because competition is what propels one to excellence. As it is, Kinect ain't offering any kind of substantial competition (from what i've seen). But hey, who knows? The game industry is a fickle entity and could suprise us come November.

As for me however, i'll be picking up the Move.

EDIT: Yes sir, Malcolm McDowel...
