Haha. Maybe I should go through and backtrack the entire Capcom catalogue. Perhaps it will be a spell on how to bring on the end of times.
I like the vibe from the trailer. Count me cautiously optimistic.
The voice acting is atrocious though.
Looks like they've given Kazuma an outfit change, gone is the (frankly outdated) pop'd collar shirt and suit combo. Haruka is looking quite a bit older too, but I still find it strange that she is playable. And Taiga Saejima goes baldheaded. Akiyama is still rocking the maroon pinstripe though :) The graphics on a while a looking a little better, especially in the surrounding textures.
Bloody hell I can't wait for this game - I just hope it gets localised.
A longer game does not instantly make a game 'better value'. I would rather a 20 hour game that I thoroughly enjoyed more than a 40 hour game that isn't my cup of tea. "Better value" is subjective.
Pretty great game to get for free I reckon. This whole 'instant game collection' thing is pretty sweet; its the thing that got me to subscribe last month.
In the comments, the community guy said the next two games (released 18th July) will comprised with one BD Digital game and one PSN Digital game. Can't wait.
I really loved the demo, and probably was the biggest surprise coming out of the press conferences for me.
Loved The Last of Us demo as well, but I already expected to love it.
Beyond: Two Souls looked amazing as well, definitely excited to see more.Kinda knew something was coming due to all the rumours.
Those would be the 3 games of the show for me, although Watch Dogs was certainly the biggest surprise.
It's actually alot sooner then I expected. Any news about a "The Last of Us" release date would be awesome.
I was disappointed in the press conference also, but I totally disagree with you on several of your comments.
- We didn't even see any gameplay to judge what kinda gameplay Beyond is going to have. All we saw were cut-scenes. Even if the game plays like Heavy Rain there isn't anything really wrong with that, thousands of people enjoyed it. If it isn't your thing, that's fine, but I think the general consensus was positive.
- Lack of footage...
With the exception of The Last of Us and Beyond, I was pretty disappointed with the press conference. I liked Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed, but I had already seen that in the earlier Ubi press conference.
Maybe I got caught up with the rumour hype, but wished we had gotten a proper PS+ upgrade, Vita price drop, the rumoured streaming deal, and a few other things that were hyped early on. Thought we might see a few other exclusives as well. And not even a release date fo...
I love me some God of War, but man I was hoping for some significant changes. More God of War is always a good thing, but just wished it experimented a little bit more.
Graphics are still amazing though. Love the elephant beast thing.
Man, this conference had a great start and now it is steadily plummeting. This storybook thing wouldn't be so bad if it lasted a couple minutes, but 10 minutes dedicated to it? What the hell?
Only 2 Vita games announced and 2 AAA exclusives so far? Bloody hell I hope this picks up on the home stretch. There should be at least a few more good games by the end, and hopefully at least one more surprise. Oh, and disappointing that there wasn't a Vita or PS3 price drop.
I wonder if the player is primarily taking control of her "friend". The player will control when and how she uses her powers because those powers come from her otherworldly friend.
Perhaps that friend is somekind of guardian angel? If so, that would explain the powers and how the story bridges the now, and the beyond.
Dunno, just a couple theories.
Heavy Rain was my game of the year, so count me incredibly excited to see more of this. I'll really like to see some actual gameplay soon just to see how they are approaching it.
The animations and facial animations look like a big step up from Heavy Rain. I got a feeling there's still a lot under wraps with this one.
Also, wasn't there a rumour about a Quantic Dream Vita game?
Ummm, gross.
Gotta disagree with you there. They were terrible, unfunny and boring, but they never reached the depths of depravity as Mr Caffeine did. I don't think we are going to find youtube clips of their antics for years to come.
But then again, maybe he was more amusing because he was so bad?
Good point, added it to my list. Must say that Ubi had balls showing that scene right at the beginning of the trailer. Not very often you see First Person sex at E3 lol.
No Mr Caffeine = Win
ACIII = Win
Watchdogs = Win
Far Cry 3 = Win
Good conference overall by Ubi.
This game looks real interesting. Got a massive Person of Interest (which I love) vibe from this. The way he jams tech around him is pretty nifty, and I liked the cyberpunk-ish feel I got from it. Looks promising.
Glad Ubi stepped it up this year. They definitely shut down the haters who said their conference was going t...
Regardless of the american/brit debate going on here, I'm really excited for this game. Gameplay looks solid, setting is something new and exciting, and being an Assassin's Creed game there should be a good story. I'm gonna miss my man Ezio, but I'm glad to see things taking a new direction. Dunno, if i'd want 3 games with Connor though.
Yes, most of the footage of the game so far has had Connor killing Brits, but I think we've only seen a tiny portio...
I dunno, I think I would prefer a new Marvel Ultimate Alliance game. I really enjoyed the 2nd one with it's great Civil War storyline.
Obviously there hasn't been any gameplay shown of this (unless i've missed something), but why move away from a established IP like Ultimate Alliance? Guess it might have something to do with the WiiU and Kinect implementations.
It takes some real ego to make this claim...and it spits in the face of fellow developers by basically saying he is better than them.
