Deja Vu! You said the exact thing, word for word, in the AC:Brotherhood story. Not very original are ya?

I think this game will be awesome though, and the zombie figure is pretty nice, hopefully it aint a cheapo. Plus I love how it comes with that lego head thing.

Totally agree...i think online Poker could be heaps of fun, especially if they employ the cheating mechanism, could be a lot of fun trying to spot an offender.

Wow Drjft, talk about getting anal about things. Let the fans enjoy the news without having to piss over the parade. What your talking about is semantics, and 'assuming' people are reading it wrong. But whatever, go have yourself a pity party with the cool little party cowboy hats.

As for the topic, i'm with most others here...this sounds like ALOT of fun. Cowboy zombies? Count me in.

effin hell! I'm totally getting the Special Edition, I badly want that zombie figurine...i'm a bit of a sucker for stuff like that. The box art is pretty mediocre though, that lego head thing stands out pretty bad, almost distractingly so. Not the worst i've seen though, and im sure the game is gonna be awesome. Cant wait :)

The comment was not saying that 3D games WILL be subpar, but rather that there is a POTENTIAL that 3D will damage a game rather than enhance it. Drawing a comparison to the movie industry will highlight this problem. 3D is now being tacked on to nearly every big movie because there is a belief it will make more money, however this is not always the case and can vastly damage the movie in both its 2D and 3D variations. Plus i dont want the focus on 3D to make gameplay play second fiddle. 3D ...

That is too true. The atmosphere and art design was pretty amazing. Like you said, it wasn't perfect, but some very well done imagery.

I agree totally with your last statement. I just feel that 3D should be something that compliments and enhances a game or movie. Not something that is simply tagged onto it so that they can say "hey, its 3D". 3D should only be used to create a better story, just like CGI should only be used in film to enhance its story and not become the focal point. So I too hope the trend levels itself out.

The title of this article reminds me of that radio advert on GTA: Vice City, for Exploder: Evacuator Part 2.

---------------------------

"Tim, they got your family!"
"But i'm not married"
"You are now...to America!"

----------------------------

"He would have been a fine American, ill cry when i'm done killing."

Oh man, I love Metropolis. Such an incredible classic. Love the pictures and avatar dude, very good taste my friend.

On Topic: These Marvel characters are great. :)

Cannot wait for this game, I rather enjoyed the first one on PS2. I can never get enough of a good Mafia game or movie. Man, if they make a third, they need to get Joe Pesci in it somehow and create a character that is just like the character he played in Goodfellas, pretty much the scariest human being on celluloid ever. If you haven't seen Goodfellas and your over 17 or so, i'd HIGHLY recommend it. One of my all-time favorite movies.

My biggest problem with 3D is not necessarily with the prices or even with the devices. My biggest problem is with the idea that everything needs to be in 3D. We are now seeing it with movies, everything is being converted to 3D when it really doesn't need to be. In certain cases, using 3D actually damages the aesthetic of a film, Alice in Wonderland was an example, and just read the scathing reviews of The Last Airbender which are saying that the 3D makes the film visually intelligibl...

I actually really enjoyed the Street Fighter animated movie. It had good character development, which gave the characters a reason for doing what they did. The animation was good, story was solid and the action scenes were well orchestrated.

I also thought that the Dante's Inferno animated movie was interesting. I've seen better animated movies but i've also seen a hellava lot worse.

I don't mind people making video game adaption's for mo...

Pretty much what I said below. So yeah I do agree with you. But saying that, some of the early Comic Book Films were actually good, like Richard Donner's Superman. What made that successful is that the film makers stopped treating comic book films as simply an 'adaptation' of a comic, but rather focused on making a good movie first and foremost. It also understood what made Superman appealing and exemplified that. Game based movies have not been able to grasp that concept as y...

I just wished they fixed up all the bugs with the DLC first. I LOVED DA:O a lot, I played through the story and savored everything. And then I brought (downloaded) Awakenings, and it simply wouldn't work with my copy of DAO. And then I did some research online and found hundreds of people having problems with the DLC. After weeks of back and forth with EA/Bioware (and re-downloading, deleting save files, router checks etc)they still couldn't find a solution and eventually just sto...

I think the problem with game to film adaptation's is that they suffer from the same problems as some of the earlier comic to film adaption's, which is they don't have faith in the intelligence of the targeted audience. They dumb down the scripts and the characters are just a device to progress the action. There is minimal character development, the story is often cheesy, and the action just plain convoluted. Too make better films based on games they should study the development o...
