Well Dead Nation ain't banned, its just being classified and will be released.
Damn, I was wondering why it wasn't on the PS Store. But this makes sense, somebody not doing their job correctly forgot to submit it for classification, which is a huge effin' mistake. But i'm not too worried, the game will get a rating regardless, there's only a handful of games banned here and they are all crap anyways. We ain't as medieval as our friends across the ditch.
100% agree with Memento being Nolan's best film, but I dunno why you think Insomnia is better then Inception. I thought Insomnia was his worst film, but its saying much about a director when his worst film is still miles better then alot of movies being made today.
Too true mate, the pure love for the game seems to have been lost a bit these days. I love films just as much, and honestly, you don't really (there are exceptions) read the amount of drivel that you hear when you go read gaming forums.
I agree, all of this crap is getting ridiculous. But honestly, this article is just begging for hits. I think I might take a break from this site, and just play the game and simply enjoy it without all this fanboy furore.
Hmmmm, good read, certainly makes me want to play the game even more. From everything I read there are no real concerns as of yet. Damn, this bad boy is looking like its gonna be awesome.
I think IGN has purposely started rating more harshly...I think they have (maybe) realized that they're been waaay too lenient on game scores. IMO however, if I had to choose a major site, I would go with gamespot, they don't give out big scores willy nilly.
I was never really interested in the photo mode on this game, now i'm really looking forward to giving it a little play around.
Great option, it's not the most in depth but I really don't care. This would drastically extent the longevity of this game. And i like that there are weather conditions and time options available just to add that little bit of difference to tracks.
You can disagree if you wish, but that doesn't dispute that fact that there is most definitely a COD backlash happening. You could see it brewing even before the game released, and now that the game has come out and it's been hit with criticism, thats given the ammunition needed to bombard the game with more criticism than justified. Don't get me wrong, many of the complaints are justified AND needed in order to make the developers aware of the concerns, but many of these issues...
I'm far from being the biggest FPS fan, but i'm rather enjoying this. I really enjoyed the campaign of MW2, but thoroughly hated the glitched/cheating environment of it's MP mode. With BO, i'm actually enjoying the campaign more (having the focus on a single character helps story cohesion), and i'm actually really enjoying the MP. Yes there are a few bugs, but most games do have em' at launch. I haven't really had too many problems with lag and connection. The on...
Thats what I generally do. Goto EB, take a JBHIFI catalog, if I finish the game within a week or I dislike it, I take it back. But a lot of the EB's are now recording who returns items continuously and are planning on adding new terms and conditions. That said, still doesn't explain the markups. Production should not account to that much of a price increase of games to our overseas counterparts.
PS: I ended up getting Black Ops at JB anyways, it was going for 118, a...
You think they're expensive in Oz, trying flying east 3 hours to New Zealand. COD: BO was selling at full retail for $159.99 at EB Games, its absolute rubbish. And those saying just trade it in, well you would be lucky to get 30% back on Trade In (for any game) unless you trade it within 1-2 weeks. Also, used games are usually only $20 cheaper (even if that) then it's full priced counterpart. And trust me, NZ's average income is nowhere that of Australia's.

I don't care if a game comes out yearly, as long as it's a good game and some effort has been put into it. And I don't think Ubisoft has been overly bad this Gen, there's certainly worse cough*activision*cough. I really enjoyed Scott Pilgrim, AC and the Tom Clancy games.
I thought that was a well written article. And it was interesting to see the perspective of someone who has family members who have died and fought in wars. I don't necessarily agree with the argument, but I cannot dismiss the opinions of those who have them.
well said buddy
Jezus Jezabell! Enough with these bullsh!t articles already. There has already been enough articles covering this rather (relatively) small issue. And besides most sites with actual credibility (not some effin blogspot article) have stated that sources tell them it's before Christmas. The game was close to going gold anyway, so why delay it till 2011, unless there's an issue that has managed to stay under mat (which is pretty hard to do these days). And who in the flying monkey shits ...
I agree. Being popped straight into it kinda reminds me of LOTR:TTT, it starts with Gandalf going straight into that pit...instant action and no wasting time on exposition. :) And then again, Chicago lose that game, maybe its 2K intention for the majority to lose it...just like in history.
I don't agree with his OPINION, but I will still enjoy the films he wrote nevertheless. 28 Days Later is one of my all time favorite horrors, and Sunshine was an EXCELLENT sci-fi untill the end.
the game is awesome so far, but I am having issues with the matchmaking. Hopefully MM will fix it up soon :)
