You're right, but the good news is that it's likely to migrate to Nintendo's new box.
I think at this point, if Versus comes out and isn't the second coming of Cloud, Wada knows it will pretty much shatter Square Enix' fragile reputation. After pulling the trigger far too soon on FFXIV, his head is already on the chopping block. Another triple A bomb is the axe. It will get another 5 years if it needs it; So long as the company can sustain itself that long.
Netflix isn't a hardware dependent subscription. You can watch it on anything you like. The fact that the PSN was down isn't their problem, because everyone still had access to their account the entire time.
If a PS3 is the only device you can watch Netflix on, that's unfortunate but not their problem. (Everyone I know had no problem watching Netflix on their PS3 throughout the outage anyway.)
Bummer. Nothing against Spike.. I just don't get it. Cancelled cable years ago.
Actually turning on the PSN is the only way consumers can remove their information. That is the only step that can have any effectiveness in protecting information.
And on that note, identity protection is an individual matter. No one is responsible for it other than yourself. Limiting consumer options doesn't change that.
Incompetent douchebags.
Stop defending this nonsense. We accept that it can't be avoided, but that in no way makes it good or beneficial. People are STARVING because of this! It's a major disaster for those people whose living is dependent on their sales from the PlayStation Store.. which seems to be the last priority in terms of actually restoring service. Jobs will be lost. Games probably cancelled. Companies may even close.
Not good.
I was and continue to be pissed off about the data breach. I can live without the PSN indefinitely.
In fact, I hope it continues another month. I want to see the look on Jack's face at E3.
These may be factors beyond his control.
Sounds more like an attack against millions of innocent customers.
Do your worst douchebags. There's really nothing left for the public to be concerned about.
I don't care if you know my address. Come knock on my door. I dare you.
My 360 remains boxed up in my closet.
Do you want me to copy/paste the whole thing, or do you just want to click the link yourself and actually verify it?
EDIT: Link changed, thank you.
This article is hugely spoiler laden and has absolutely nothing to do with UGC or Kevin Butler.
I'm shocked they weren't already registered.
Having my victimization poked fun at doesn't lighten my mood.
It pisses me off more.
Everything you need to know is online. You'll fail before you succeed. Even if you know how to build a PC, you still need to do research every time you want to build a new one. It's part of the process. (And it's fun.)
A great place to start is by buying a bare bones kit from Newegg or TigerDirect. They provide everything, but you get to put it together. Have an internet-connected computer available to Google answers as questions arise and to download updates and ...
@cgoodno
They've already published false information by saying they've never asked for credit card security codes, which they do.
@cgoodno
You'll have to forgive me if I can't take Sony at their word right now.

Don't be so sure. My mother's PSN associated Amex had some fraudulent charges billed to her via Amazon in Washington today. We're in Toronto. Luckily the charges were blocked and the card cancelled, no harm done. However, it's a bad sign.
There is always the chance of a random coincidence, but it's a very large coincidence. And unfortunately it doesn't look like her own Amazon account was compromised, so it appears the card nu...
Considering the high Yen and low US Dollar, I'm thinking Nintendo wants those Wiis to sell anywhere but the US.
