Oh c'mon.
At least compare Golden Abyss to Drake's Fortune.
Give them another 5 months.. or about one quarter of their entire development time.
Polish is always the last step.
I don't think people understand or can appreciate what they saw of Uncharted 3 at E3.
Procedurally generated waves and real-time physics acting upon the entire level in a entirely unpredictable sequence.
Why do people keep going to Andrew House for comments? He's the least qualified person in the company. He probably doesn't learn anything until it's announced at E3 like the rest of us.
Yeah, I agree. Still.. fingers crossed.
I think they're both going to hold the opinions of third party devs as gospel. As such, they're likely to create very similarly spec'd machines. They'll just expand on their current architectures.
My guess is probably 24 threads with 4GB of RAM, at least 1GB of that being VRAM, maybe 2GB. I'd like to see both include standard SSDs too.
It's a Kotaku community article. So it's some reader defending Kinect. Kotaku just gives them a voice.
What I've gleaned from reading posts is that AT&T is expensive and their coverage is not nation wide. Though I don't think anyone's coverage is nation wide.
The problem is that, from my understanding, not a single carrier in the US uses the same system and each require different hardware. Sony probably can't manufacture different hardware for Verizon specifically, so they've gone with the carrier that can support their hardware and offer the best cover...
Well I'm in Canada so no.
I'm sure the device will be exclusive to Rogers in Canada if 3G is even available. I will be holding Rogers' balls to the wall this fall when I decide what I want to do about upgrading my phone. So I'll see what they say about it then.
My current plan is just allow for WiFi hotspot, as many have already said and use that to power the Vita, as well as other devices. If they offer a comprehensive data sharing plan, I...
@Merivigian
Gaming consoles have had multimedia functionality since 1994. Even portable gaming devices have had multimedia functionality since 2004.
So much for being the entertainment hub of the living room.
I'm not in a 'rush' so much as I'd just like more. I realize the next generation is likely to be both the last console generation as well as the most insignificant step forward between console generations in video game history, with televisions being capped at 1080p for the time being.
However, I would at least like to take advantage of that resolution as a standard for all games, with 4x Anti-Aliasing minimum. And I'd like the hardware to be able to acco...
I don`t think anyone was worrying. I think the general question everyone is asking is a) is this a product to compete with PS3 and 360 late in the game or b) is this a product to jump into a new generation that will exclude PS3 and 360.
And without proper specs, it`s difficult to say for sure. Resolution on televisions is going to cap at 1080p anyway. Ultimately it will come down to the software. And the picture that`s being painted there is that for the most part, third part...
Very, very intriguing.
Hmmmm... geeeee... huuuuh... What happened in May that could have possibly had an impact on PlayStation sales. Hmmmmm. What a mystery.
Yeah, I couldn't even finish it. So disappointing. And now I have no reason to look forward to 3.
I was hoping the evil ending would somehow lead to Cole realizing the world he created was flawed and chaotic. An unending war of conduit factions all fighting for different reasons but none being able to resolve anything. Ultimately leading Cole to come to terms with his mistakes and essentially becoming Kessler. He would then travel back in time, as per the story from the first game. The Beast Kessler had been referring to was not John, but Cole himself. This would complete the plot hole in...
Vita has certainly reinvigorated my enthusiasm for the platform. Not that I had stopped looking forward to InFamous 2 (until I got it.), Uncharted 3 and Twisted Metal. Not to mention Starhawk.. oh my god am I psyched for Starhawk. Really hope Warhawk and/or Starhawk is brought to Vita unaltered with cross play. Oh man that would make me happy.
Nope, there's this new thing coming called the PlayStation Vita. It's LIKE a PSP but it's way more powerful. Meaning, by the time this releases (if ever) its quality will be piss-poor by comparison.
And I'd just like to point out that they spent 4 years developing a PSP game. A PSP GAME! It's no wonder the platform didn't get the attention it deserved. The people making the key content for it had their heads up their asses during the entire life cycle ...
Finally. Hale to the queen baby!
