Personally, the proposition of taking my game on the go is far more compelling, even if it's not likely to be widely utilized. I'm not sure if Nintendo's Remote Play function will be widely utilized either if the touchscreen is used for other functions in-game.
Either way, sharing the television is not a concern for me. It's my television. (This function seems to indicate to me that Nintendo is still catering to the subordinates of the family.)
Gotta be speculation.
If I understood EVE at all, I'd probably be more interested in this game, at least in concept.
Unfortunately I just don't get it. The games are completely detached and disconnected... yet.. not so? Interesting, but confusing.
From my meager understanding, console players are mercs at the behest of PC players? And PC players seem to hate console players.. So they can just order them to their death? Or something? And if so.. how do the shooter players f...
Nintendo got greedy with their price. They wanted a nice tidy profit for every unit sold. Sony took them to task for it. The devices will not be the same price by the time Vita launches. In fact, 3DS' $250 price tag may not even last the week.
You don't have to feel bad for the people who have more disposable income than you do.
At least ya won't be dropping calls.
Considering the most recent sales data, I'm not sure the Wii will be the best selling console when all is said and done.
They'll have to convince that entire fringe audience of theirs to buy all over again if they expect lightning to strike twice.
I'd say they have their work cut out for them.
(Though all they have to do to sell me is show me Mario or Link in 1080p)
I'm pretty sure this will apply to all 3D displays. I see no reason why it shouldn't.
I hope they went the subsistence route and added full 3D camera support to both games, included optional inversion for both axes.
If they're smart, the release date is not a second before it's ready.
With the types of things being announced related to NGP, I have to agree. The ability to take PS3 gaming on the go (slightly downgraded) is going to keep me interested in PS3 for a couple years longer than anticipated.
The one thing I want a PS4 for (and this is likely to be unpopular) is for an improvement in 3D. I've been loving any and all 3D content I can get in 1080p (Super Stardust HD is amazing in 3D), but anything less just seems.. weird. If the next generation ca...
I don't want to hear anything about the price until I hear the price.
If by 'full package' you mean complete speculation, I'd agree.
Though NGP's resolution is not 720p, it will still be lower resolution and thus lower detail than the HD collection. It's one thing to port without disparity, it's another to render at a higher resolution. I'd take higher res any day. That's exactly the problem with 3DS, it's lower resolution than a standard television and therefore can't display the same detail as the PS2. ...
What does it matter? If you want it on the go, there you go. In 3D even.
If you want a graphical upgrade, then get the HD collection.
I think Square should remake FFVII, I'm not entirely sure they should do so in the style of FFXIII.
I think they should stick to the original design of 3D polygonal characters over 2D painted backgrounds. Obviously those 2D backgrounds would be amazingly beautiful 1080p paintings with full 3D characters of an Advent Children level of fidelity.
Most of the work should go into stunning 3D battlegrounds, the World Map and cutscenes, which I'd happily tak...
My guesses: Syphon Filter 4, Sly 4, God of War 4 and Heavenly Sword 2.
No new IPs this year? Damn. We'll see.
I got a good deal on one and I prefer it to my 1001. But having the 1001 makes the lack of UMD an easier proposition. I don't mind the smaller screen size because it's beautiful and crisp. It's great for PS1 games.
And Square Enix disappoints for the fifth year in a row.
Military shooters? Please.. Done. Overdone. Done some more. It was boring in 2007 people.
If any FPS deserves any play this fall, it's Rage. The rest of them and wallow in their piles of stupid people's money.
I'm psyched for IG going multiplatform. I hope they can leverage Nintendo and PC too. A larger audience means more financing for more games. More games are good.
It's analogous to a child growing up and starting their own family. It's selfish to hold it against them.
