That desription sounds like a timed exclusive deal.
"exclusively first on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Games for Windows."
Sony has plenty of money. They are a bigger company and their video games division actually turns a profit. I'm saying it seems excessive because these aren't even franchised games. It's one thing when a company acquires a franchise, like Halo, but it's another when they just go out buying exclusive contracts with games that would otherwise be multiplatform like they SC.
Is this coming to pc too? The only RTS games I play are on pcs, like Company of Heroes, and I can't imagine them being too good on a console unless you got a keyboard and mouse setup. Just my personal preference.
I was gonna pick up Bioshock for pc anyways, but MS is going crazy with this exclusive stuff. This is getting real excessive.
We already knew this. Activision has said they are bringing Guitar Hero to "all major platforms" and 360 happens to be a major platform.
That still doesn't mean the ps3 won't get additional content, they just confirmed that their will be exclusive content for the 360 version. The ps3 could have exclusive content too. Plus, both systems get the game, which is what most people care about.
Yay, now you can pay $600 for a HD-DVD drive that has no relevance to gaming! How many people are going to buy this? It costs extra, is external, and it doesn't enhance games at all. This just means that Sony will move more bluray players than Microsoft will move HDDVD players.
Is this the old games or a new title Threeie or something?
Why is everything Microsoft vs. Sony for you? The game is coming to both platforms so this trailer is still good news for ps3 fans.
This doesn't really seem like the type of game that sees release anywhere outside of Japan. But I guess if there are fans of the series (I've never heard of it) then they could always import it. Yay region free gaming.
Did you see the White Knight Story gameplay trailer? That was amazing! In my opinion that was the game of the show because I've never seen an rpg with gameplay that looked so good. Blue Dragon was a close second though, that game is going to be awesome. But those battles in WKS make the battles in Lost Odyssey and Final Fantasy seem really old and boring.
If they put Nosferatu on as extra content I'd go crazy. That movie is definitely the best vampire movie ever. Shouldn't be hard because no one owns the rights to it.
LOL. Nice little joke. Game sounds as good as ever.
Is this the secret launch game that that opm podcast a while back was talking about?
Nice water effects, good draw distance, cyclone kicked ass. I haven't heard that much about this game, so I'm still wondering what the game play is like. Is this gonna be a game I'll want to play on a console or on a pc?
If this is successful, I wouldn't mind a sequel. As long as it doesn't interfere with any future Ratchet games. Insomniac's also supposed to be working on a Ratchet game, but I think all that's been shown is a tech demo. Hopefully we'll see it in 2007. The Ratchet series had some of my favorite games for the ps2.
I would say Zelda is more of an adventure game, and Dead Rising is more of an action game. They both have rpg elements, but they don't fit the eastern or western formats that we usually associate with rpgs.
I hope you guys do, it could be the least Sony could do to make up for the delay. But since it seems that all the game companies screw the territories outside of Japan and North America over, I wouldn't get your hopes too high. Maybe Sony could surprise people and give European gamers a break that they deserve. Here's hoping.
All the other trailers showed damage. Maybe thats what the developers are still working on? Just speculating.
Yes I'm saying Sony is bigger than Microsoft. Sony has holdings in electronics, video games, music, and movies. The company is larger, and that is a fact.
