Insomniac is really living up the its name. I mean they are on their 3rd PS3 title with added content to R&C to boot. These guys don't sleep.
This looks promising. I was hoping this was the little game that could due to it sneaking up on people. CA makes high quality games and I didn't expect them to underperform. Hopefully, other reviews will be on par, but I plan on picking it up.
My feeling about Dark Sector goes the other way. That one started out promising, but looks to be turning into an average game.
Have to see next week how they both turn out.

This ME thing just seems to go on and on. Even if ME 2 wound up on the PS3, who would want to start a game somewhere near the middle? It's either all or nothing and Bioware already said the PS3 gets nothing.
Did Too Human get pushed out to August? I swore I read or heard that somewhere.
One could argue that none of the 3 major consoles appeal to the mass market yet. The winning console will be the one that can entice the broader market with titles, price, brand name.
The PS3 and 360 are gathering the hardcore gamers and are looking to bring in the casual crowd. The Wii on the other hand is aiming at casual first, then drawing in more hardcore (the Nintendo fans were always there).

I'm finding this game is alot more addictive than I thought. Before I hadn't played a Brawl game and wasn't sure what all the fuss was about, but now I'm sneaking online matches during lunch.
I'm bound and determined to get good with Donkey Kong even if he is a big, slow oaf... damn you Kirbys of the world, I will hunt you all down with my big meaty claws.

You can't look strictly at #'s of people when you compare the casual audience to the hardcore audience. Casuals will buy alot less and will not read magazines, scan the internet, follow the gaming news like a hardcore does. Therefore, your sales are alot harder to pin down then what you might get for a hardcore game.
Granted, casuals are more apt to go for a pretty box or a movie tie in, so the chance to deliver shovelware is there.
Plus, consider the developme...

Doesn't 3/5 on a rumor basically mean they don't know? What is the point of a rumor mill opinion if you give a 3/5? 5/5 means yes, 1/5 means no, 3/5 means we don't know. Heck, I can give a 3/5 on those rumors... I don't know either :)
Come on guys, there were at least 20 XBox's in the room and only 1 failed, that is 5% failure rate. Didn't we here at MS say the failure rate was lower than 16%?
I thought XPlay reviewed it rather harshly too. They had a faceoff with 2K and they gave it to 2K. They are about the only ones that thought 2K outdid the Show.

I've found slipping a Tylenol PM into her dinner does wonders for extra gaming hours before bed :)
