Yes, you can get in them. I saw some footage the other day of the guy getting into a helicopter and flying it. Not sure about other vehicles.
I like the fact you can blow up the real in game advertising (or at least a mission?). That sounds pretty smart from an advertising standpoint. Gets your product noticed even if it is for nefarious reasons.
I'd be wary, Jack will probably sue for libel and defamation of character.
Looked pretty darn good especially for Wii. Is 7/10 the release date for just Japan? Surprised I haven't heard of it before.
Motorstorm was the first game I played on the PS3 since it was a pack in and my jaw literally dropped. The graphics were such a step up especially when you scanned the desert mts on the intro.
I had 2 friends come by soon after that went out and got a PS3 after seeing that game.
Now, many months later I've seen some pretty good graphics in other places, but that was the first Wow moment in next gen gaming.
BF - Lol. Yup, exactly. I got a joystick with a button on the top of the stick and I had friends coming over to admire the thing.
What about ordering games through mail order and waiting 6-8 weeks for them to come in? That's just nuts and quite a cruel thing to do to a kid.
DD - Ah, I think you and I are twins. If my wife is getting sleepy at nine I say, oh too bad honey you must have had a hard day... but I'm think get your a$$ to bad so I can start playin' :P
Yeah, born in the early 70's :(. My kids constantly remind me of that too. Little whippersnappers, they are still young enough I can beat them but I think the boy is just a year or two away from taking me down.
Honestly, I took a few years off from gaming in the early '00...
I hear ya BF. Unfortunately, I have this nagging feeling when I leave a game unfinished. I guess there are those that must finish a book and those that can quit anytime and move on. I fall into the former with games, which is why I must get back to Zelda and RE before the summer games start kicking in.
Ah, some people get lucky... what are you gonna do. Just the other day I took my kids to Epcot and we wanted to ride Soarin but there was a 90 min wait. My kids had their poor puppy dog eyes on and the lady working the line slipped us 3 fast passes and we were on in 10 mins.... sometimes you win sometimes you lose.
In any sense $50.00 is only about $4.00/month. I never really thought Live was that expensive. That's what, practically a gallon of gas these days?
I haven't played it myself, but it appears you have every major and alot of minor titles there and I figured Dark Sector seemed like it was missing.
Thanks guys, I'll check some of them out.
Lol.. Yup, I have a stack from xmas still to play and even have Oblivion from last October unopened. Just got too much in the queue ahead of them all and too many other things coming up.
I stopped mid game in Zelda TP and RE4 around January and not even sure I remember how the controls work anymore... and I've been itching to finish RE4.
You're spending way too much time sleeping, you can probably trim a good 5 hours off that time and catch a few zzz's at work.
If the wife is in the same room or even in the house at the same time, I consider that spending quality time :)
That's me to a tee... pretty scary
You prefer playing against the computer
Yup, I rarely play online, not sure why though. I like people, I do.. I just don't like those annoying people :)
You only play when your girlfriend is out
Pretty much when everyone has gone to bed
You believe that winning isn't everything
Not sure on this one... maybe. Although I didn't kill every templar or get every flag in Creed
It's ...
I've been going crazy as late picking up PS2 games on the cheap as I didn't own a PS2 last gen and finding alot of them are alot of fun. Any recommendations (in any genre)?
I've already played on my 80GB:
GoW I, II
FFXII (haven't finished)
Ico
Sotc
Kingdom Hearts
MGS pack (yet to play)
GTA pack (yet to play)
No Dark Sector?
I think the number of hours will be quite a large range.
I can usually get about 10 hours a week which is about 2 hours a day for 5/7 days. I can only play at night when the kids are in bed and don't have much time on the weekends. It usually takes me a good 2 weeks to get through a medium length title.
Cool, I look forward to reading more about it.
thx
Good point, I didn't read the 360 article, but assumed it was just exclusives.
Brutal Legend looks awesome and seems to be under the radar. Borderlands was getting some press earlier it seems and has now go into hiding.
This games looking good. For a bit there, it seemed this game was getting some negative attention, but this looks impressive.
