The Wii is in a different league when you compare it to the PS/360. Casual buyers are not like hardcore buyers. Most of us on this site can name multiple releases months down the road and will know before it releases how it is reviewing and what other people think of it. Casual buyers pick up a game when company is coming over or when the kids get a good report card or if they are just shopping and see something. They are sold more on the marketing, packaging and name brand then anything ...

How is Resistance 2 not being talked about? What about Infamous? That is one game that looks appealing from what little I've seen and there is scarcely any info on it.

Interesting, he is on MSN and isn't biased toward the 360... cheers for that.

You can't blame Sony or MS for wanting a piece of the casual pie, but to hear either of them state they have plenty of family titles is laughable. Pinata and Uno do not make a well rounded family lineup.

>Fallout 3 is on track for release on PC and Xbox 360 this autumn.

Is that a misprint or is the PS3 coming out later?

Pretty neat. Hope the game ties in well with the comics.

Capcom took MH3 from the Playstation to put it on the Wii. Wait until that comes out.

It's crazy the PSP outsold the PS3 about 10:1 but even more nuts it outsold the 360 about 75:1

He makes a good point that no one says, Activision beat out EA this month on publishing sales by $5,000.00, the tide is turning.

How many publishing fanboys are out there?

In the end, if all consoles do well, then so much the better. If one has 80,000,000 sales and the other has 75,000,000 when the next next gen shows up will anyone really be the winner?

Of course the Wii will have 250,000,000 sales.

From the looks of this game it looks like just a bunch of mini-games glued together. Granted, every game can be deduced into whatever repetitive element its gameplay consists of, but it should be the object of the developer to not make it stand out so much (unless their aim is for minigames and they are on the Wii).

oh come on, put the whole game in a demo... we don't mind :)

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering. It was universally panned for the controls, so why are they doing this so late in the game?

Yeah, no doubt. I don't understand that strategy. It will keep them from having their servers slammed every Thursday night, plus it enables them to get things out quickly.

KK,

Once you have created a connection between the PSP and PS3, set the PS3 to remote play from the network icon. Now, on the PSP you go into remote play and it will connect via a Wifi, turn on your PS3 (if it was off) and then give you the screen on your PSP that you can navigate.

I forgot the details on how I synched up the PSP to the PS3 the first time I did it, but it wasn't anything tricky. You should be able to Google it.

Just to note, you...

Great, now I have to "accidently" leave my nightstand lamp on when I go to bed after playing this game.

NG Sigma was a challenge, but I wouldn't put it at #1. I got through it on normal and I consider myself to be an average gamer.

I'm having a time now with Castelvania: Rondo of Blood. It's a very unforgiving side scroller and a great source of frustration repeating levels over and over to get the pattern down... ugh, too bad I can't throw the PSP at the wall.

Just goes to show you can't do games on the cheap and expect to get away with it. The developer even came out after the game was trashed in reviews to say they had a low budget and a short development window. Still doesn't excuse them from making a piece of crap and trying to charge full price.

Unfortunately, this developer is also making Legendary: The Box which had some hype and press in past months, but probably shot themselves in the foot by first presenting this title.

I'm always looking for that can't put down game. The last one I played was Jeanne D'Arc on the PSP where I would try and play it whenever I had a spare minute and looked forward to coming back. Kind of like a good book.

Sadly, I don't find as many of those as I did when I was younger. Not that other games aren't fun. I usually enjoy pretty much anything I'm playing, but I don't find myself wishing my current game du jour had 10 more hours of playtime. When they are done, I...

Yup, every console and handheld and probably had half the development time to do it in. Not sure how anyone can make a good game under those circumstances.
