Obama is a bad choice for that list. He uses video games along with TV or any pasttime that kids can get sucked into that detracts from their education. He isn't out to end gaming.
Obama spoke to kids yesterday in their classrooms about education. My son hasn't stopped talking about how Obama got up at 4AM to do home schooling before his mother went to work. Of course my son was playing a video game at the time, but that is beside the point.
and they have great haircuts. I usually criticize my coworkers haircuts, but when I go into Bungie, their haircuts are top notch. I never have to get out a comb. Their bathrooms are polished to the nth degree. I never see overspray or have to preflush when I go in there. Never once have I had to ask a Bungie employee for a courtesy flush either. This is how AAA devs should perform their toiletry, very neat and professional.
Sorry, trophies and achievements have no interest to me. If I get them during normal playthrough, that's fine with me, but I don't go out of my way or play longer to get them. Now, if they were attached to something like free downloads or some type of tangible bonus, that would be a different story.
You mean those emails asking to send me $1,000,000 from some stranger in Africa are just scams? Well, color me embarrassed. I'm forever sending them money and bank accounts and all kinds of information just to help them out. Gosh, just today I was the 10,000th visitor to N4G and got a free Wii after clicking on the main page. Come to think of it, I won a Wii yesterday for visiting N4G. I guess my luck never runs out.
Yup, exactly what I thought. If it is a promotional thing, then there is an advantage to advertising and getting people to use your theme and then going out and buying your product. Just looking at the dollars and cents of the theme itself and comparing it to the costs of producing it is short sighted.
Man, I provided content on ebay just the other day and not only did they not pay me since I'm contributing to their site and helping to generate traffic, but I had to pay them... what a system. I doubt Pierre Omidyar the creator of ebay has profited much of my and others content though.
Once again a blogger using sensationalism to stir up controversy... is this HHG in disguise? The matter is strictly between the owners of the site (who the article calls the elite and ruling class to make them look like the big bad boogeyman) and the contributors who get paid for their contributions. If they don't like it, simply don't contribute. If they really have an axe to grind, start up their own site and compete against N4G and swim in the money.

If it is American to sue, what nationality is it that whines and cries about how someone else runs a business that they are not a part of?
You have to be thick skinned on the internet. You don't know who is on the other end of the keyboard, so don't put your opinions out there for the world to see if you can't handle the retorts.
If I had celebrity, I would keep an arms distance from my adoring and not so adoring fans. Although, I would accept nude self photos emailed from my female fans, but that is where I would draw the line.
“We don’t talk about the DLC, I’m afraid,” Crocker added.
The first rule of DLC is we don't talk about DLC.
Oh, there will be a sequel no doubt about it. You don't think a publisher (Eidos in this case) would let a successful, licensed property off that easy?
Yeah, a sequel would be nice. They had alot of good ideas in there, just needed some polish. I don't know if the sales will allow them a sequel. Creative Assembly hasn't had alot of luck on consoles so far.
I've had his balls, they're not that special.
Maybe I wasn't very good at the game, took me 3 or 4 times to get through it and the whole battle had to be redone if you messed up. Otherwise, I thought the game was pretty good. Not a AAA, but still fun.
Is this game due out in 2010 or has that been announced? From the sound of it, I wouldn't expect it until 2011.
This game lines up nicely with the new Slim sales. You know when you move up to the next gen you want to grab a game that says next gen and Uncharted 2 fills that in spades.
Has anyone played it? It might be worth the cash when all is said and done. I know they said more like an expansion before, but since then they have said they added alot.
Gamers are pretty smart. They may tirelessly defend something even when logic defies it, but they don't like getting screwed (at least not in the figurative sense).

NOOOOO... There goes my whole plan to get on the show :( I was going to wear a belly shirt with my peekaboo chaps... Yeah, get that image in your head :)
Ask any tester how lovely their job is after 12 hours of playing the same part of the same level over and over and over and over and over and over...oops it broke. Great, now I get to test the same thing 12 more hours after they fix it.
The job better be one of those job in title only where you show up for a week and play around with GOW III then leave.

Ummm... what? The worst job in the gaming biz.
Why is this dude polishing up his resume? Maybe he doesn't want MS to know this?
