I would rather see a company be responsible and take the time to give me fully functional software than give me some half baked crap that leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

That is great for those that have not picked one up yet. I remember the fiasco of the 360 launch with people reserving consoles only to find that they had been given to the first people to walk through the door on day one.
I waited 12 hours for my 360. MS said they were going to make sure that they bumped up production to make sure their were lost of units available. Good play MS.

I think the guy is completely correct in his assessment of KSI being an asshole. I just felt that his tone seemed to me that he had a bit of a personal agenda against KSI.

You can still leave it connected for God of War as the graphics won't change. It is just HDMI pass though. It won't be re-rendered by the Xbox One.

I agree that the guy is a complete asshole and it was definitely a mistake to use that guy but I have a funny feeling that KSI tried to rape him at some time in the past. Or conversely KSI rebuffed his advances and now he is pissed.

This is all due to the fact that he Xbox One requires the download patch for the game first. If the download takes 5 minutes then that adds 5 minutes to the install time.
Some people will say that they should allow the game to install first and patch it later but I would argue that it makes more sense from the stand point of the game developer/publisher and console manufacturer to force the patch so that people don't shit all over the game or system for having a game f...
People are getting confused here as to what downloading is. Installing from the disk is not downloading it is copying the data from the disk to the hard drive. This can take a while. If you assume a read speed of 27 Mbytes/sec and a game that is 50 GBytes in size it will take 30.9 minutes to transfer all of that data. Now people don't get confused here as I am talking Bytes not Bits. 1 Byte = 8 Bits.

That would be a connection issue with the server that you are getting the COD patch from. It needs to download and install. I imagine with COD being the most popular game on PS4 and Xbox One that the COD servers are being swamped.
Bottom line on the Wi-Fi is that it is susceptible to interference from other electronic devices which can lead to things like data packet loss, latency issues or even complete connection loss and also due to attenuation of the signal as it passes through the structure of your house. While Wi-Fi is wonderful it is not the best for gaming or HD streaming unless the Wi-Fi source is right next to your connected device.
