How exactly did he happen to miss out on the biggest controversy of all? Not one mention of people streaming inappropriate content using the PS4 Playroom app.

@TheKingslayer Thank you but please don't slay me. LOL.

This was to be expected and is of no real consequence to the majority of people buying the console. Same applies for the PS4 once it is hacked.

The reason this is not that big of a deal is that the console will have to be physically hacked and the majority, not all but the majority of people will not rip their console apart, void the warrantee, and potentially ruin their console in the process. It is not worth it for most people.

For those that fear MS brin...

Most people seem to miss the point here. Xbox itself does not loose money. It makes money and has for several years now. Sure the launch will lead to losses in the first year as you have to write down the R&D and other costs of a launch. After that it is money in the bank. But that is not the real issue here. The real issue is that you have the investment banker in this article who only cares about one thing and that is short term profit. He does not care about potential for the lo...

Sure at a failure rate of maybe a 1000 consoles they should really boost their sales figures a lot. Go back under your bridge Troll.

"I believe the problem is rushed manufacturing and poor alignment of the tray, this leads me to believing any launch Xbox One console is subject to the same issue."

Wrong, he should keep his assumptions to himself unless he wants people to believe he is a troll. He has no understanding of the manufacturing process or the logistics behind it.

As a manufacturing engineer who has been working in manufacturing for 15 years now I can tell you that his p...

That's good. I can't use my Xbox One yet as it is a Christmas present for my kids so I am relying on what I hear from everyone about it to keep me sane until then. Can't wait.

It might be a software bug because you are supposed to be able to. Can anyone confirm if theirs works.

"The fact that Epic declined to comment when asked directly from Microsoft is something of a hint."

Is there no integrity left in journalism? No where in the article does it say that MS asked Epic that question. The interviewer states that he himself tried to contact Epic and they declined to respond. Nice try at some spin buddy.

That being said they may very well take it multiplatform just for the sales. The last Gears Judgement was not very go...

That was a pretty good review. It is nice to see someone do a review with an understanding of what a console launch is about. The first few months is about user feedback and updates to get it where most of us want it.

It is good for those that happen to like the Japanese games but I really don't enjoy them myself. Nothing wrong with them though.

Well at least he was not showing his dick on Playroom. :)

Some people are questioning the launch tactics of Sony and MS with PS4 first in NA and Xbox One in NA and parts of Europe, Australia, etc. This is pretty easily explained. NA is the largest console market currently (Asia is set to be the biggest but not there yet). Sony was running behind last gen in NA. Sony could only produce so many consoles and new that they had a pretty good chance of catching up on MS in NA due to the E3 PR disaster and decided to marshal all of their production to ...

I agree that some of the suggestions are pretty good but shouldn't website called guide4games already know that many of these have been announced already for coming updates?

One item I would like to mention is the Auto login without Kinect. It won't work if your wearing a tinfoil hat. Just kidding.

I am scratching my head as to why this is under the Xbox One tab.

This is pretty awesome. It is quirky but then again this is the first crack at something like this for the new hardware. I would imagine it is no different than playing a game on one console/controller and then playing the same game with the other console with a different controller. It just takes time to adjust to the setup. Once you have used it for a while and gotten used to the Kinect it probably works great. The time lag will most likely improve as the software for the Kinect is upd...

I have not handled the DS4 but the DS3 was too small for my hands and prefer the offset analog sticks on the Xbox controller. The D pad on the 360 controller was the only thing that really bothered me as it sucked pretty hard. I could care less about the touch pad on the new DS4 but the built in speaker like the WiiU controller was a good idea for some and they should incorporate it into the new Xbox Controller. I have a great surround system so I really don't need the built in speaker ...

Meh, he really wasn't knowledgeable about the Xbox controller. He did not know that you use a mini USB cable so that you can play wired. He did not mention that you can get the play and charge kit, he did not mention that the wireless is Wireless Direct reducing latency by 20% which is important for online FPS's and also has 20X the bandwidth which helps with wireless interference from other devices which is also important when playing online FPS's. He really did not mention muc...

Yes, Xbox needs these ports. The main part that I am trying to get across is that the NAT issue is not a fault of the Xbox Live, Xbox 360, or Xbox One. As is usually with a lot of networking and computer tech we are stuck with a lot of legacy shit that ends up needing work arounds that end up causing other bottlenecks. NAT is one of those work arounds that can f@!k up network communications.

With IPv6 that will disappear. We just have to wait for the ISP's to all upda...

I am not trying to piss on anyone's parade here but for those of you that think this is a joke and could not possibly have a negative affect on Sony you should stop and think for a minute.

Although a large part of the user base for consoles may be adults at least half of the users are kids. Who exactly do you think buys the consoles for the younger half of the console demographic? You got it Moms and Dads. How many of those Moms and Dads do you think are going to buy P...
