Sony has lost the race in motion capture and their money would be much more wisely spent in drumming up some AAA first party games not chasing half baked crap that can't hold a candle to the competition. You have a good gaming console Sony stay focused on that.

I don't get this. It does not run on the same operating system and the hardware is different. Why would anyone assume that you could do this? This really is the elephant in the room that no one wants to notice. As MS evolves this vision over the next two years they are setting themselves up with the perfect self sustaining ecosystem.

I use rechargeable batteries for my Xbox controllers and it is great. Much better than my PS3 controllers. When my Xbox controller starts to go dead I just pause the game and put in a rechargeable pack. It takes 5 seconds. With the DS3 (and DS4) you either buy another controller, Sony's little plan to skim some more money from their customer or you plug the thing in and sit 5 feet from your HD widescreen TV.

I admit that it looks pretty amazing for a group of 4 guys but it certainly did not blow me away. Entirely procedural is definitely a plus but without an interesting storyline or gameplay that you can really get immersed in it is little more than pretty pictures.

I will say that the DS4 is a massive improvement over the DS3 but it is not more sleek or efficient and the touch pad is a useless gimmick.
