@ic3fir3 Well said. I got my Xbox One and it works great. Really impressed with how good the Kinect works and the voice recognition is nearly flawless once I got the commands down. But in reality the games are the main show.

@jessupj That is really weird seeing how PS4 claimed to be for gamers but seemed to forget the games. I will not be buying a PS4 until Next Christmas or 2015 as there is nothing coming out that requires a next gen console but Infamous and The Order.

Yeah, mine has been collecting dust for about 10 months now. My kids and I basically played Lego City Undercover & Super Mario WiiU then went back to the 360 with some dabbling on the PS3. I will probably get the new Super Mario after Christmas and am looking forward to the new Zelda but for me Nintendo has fallen to third place with the Xbox being the preferred console and PS coming in second in my house.

Yes you are correct. That being said though steam is not a device it is software and a network unto itself.
I am not saying that it can't be done. I am saying that you can do the same thing via your router and that I do not know of a piece of hardware that allows you to do this other than a PC.
@FragMnTagM Yes, you are uploading them to the Cloud but the capture itself will be done on the local HDD. That is why I mentioned the requirement for the ability to uses an external HDD. This is coming in an update and hopefully it will allow longer video capture times.
What it shows to anyone with more than 3 functioning brain cells, admittedly that counts out quite a few people on this site is that the Amazon is receiving far less consistent stocking of the PS4. Thus you have a pent up demand that all jumps at once as soon as it becomes available. There is absolutely nothing new here at all. MS is not experiencing as much pent up demand because they have managed to maintain a far more consistent supply of their consoles.

I could see this in an update but not until they update to allow support of external HDDs. I am assuming they don't want to use up too much space on the internal drive. I could be wrong but it would be nice to be able to record as much as you want.
