I have to agree. I have it and it was not great on the 360. It probably would have been fine if I played it on the PC.
"He recently spoke to VentureBeat and discussed the possibility of Halo perhaps branching out from its typical formats, there was no mention of whether or not it would head on over to platforms that are in direct competition with the Xbox and Windows platforms though. The franchise is of course owned and published by Microsoft so I highly doubt this will be happening any time soon."
Formats are not platforms.
WTF this is the most ridiculous article on here yet. So my console will run me $30 per year on a bill that runs at about $2400 per year. That is 1.25% of my total electric bill. Damn I guess I should throw out my console. I can't believe people get paid to do studies like this. ROFL.
What a joke. He says it doesn't work well in his office with other people talking to their Kinects. I don't know what you would expect if you have other people with other Kinects being given commands.
Take any person and put them in a room with lots of people talking and try to have a conversation with other people talking around you.
Just watch every review these guys have done so far since they started this show and they shit on the Xbox One eac...
@DigitalRaptor Well said.
I agree. I can't see how anyone can question MS commitment to gaming. They seem to be hiring non stop.
They already seem to have a great line-up of games coming for 2014 and this further commitment of resources on the hardware side really shows their interest in the consumer market.
It would be great if they could take Illumiroom and develop it to the point where it is relatively cheap and easy to setup. Maybe something like google glass to overla...
@WeAreLegion "I find it odd that someone would only game on PC or only on consoles. Most people have computers and even integrated cards can run many games on low."
Not being argumentative here but I wanted to give my 2 cents on this question.
I happen to have a pretty decent PC made up with an I7 3770 K overclocked to 4.5GHz, GeForce GTX 760, 16 Gigs DDR3 1600MHz ram, liquid cooler, etc. I use it mainly for engineering using solid works and ACad. ...
Number one no one has said this game will come out on PC. It is owned by MS and they have only on rare occasions ported over to the PC and usually if they do it is years later when the game has run its course on the console. This only makes sense as they get some extra cash from an IP that has no legs left on the console, more money for MS.
I do not fear a game being brought out on both the PC and Xbox One for the simple reason that if you want to play it on PC you need a...
Quite a good list but missing Quantum Break, the Division, and Project Spark.
I am really looking forward to this game too. Halo 4 was good. The campaign was really good although the epic battles with the flood in Halo 2 to my mind can never be beat. It was really the online multiplayer that let Halo 4 down for me. They changed the mechanics way too much in trying to emulate COD for my liking. Online play in Halo 2 and 3 were epic and gave the game some real legs and I played if for a long time but I quickly tired of Halo 4 online and its complexities in upgrading...
LOL. I am not trolling here but just wanted to add a bit of humor so I just have to say that you forgot that Super Yoshida and his Super Cape will also arrive at the speed of light as a last resort to catch it if it falls over. Seriously though I am just being a little satirical here. I think the PS4 is a great console.
I had the same experience so mine are always horizontal now. It may look cool or even fit your situation better but I really did not like the chance of the thing falling over again.
I agree. I thought I was going to read an article about XBL and PSN not one about indie development policy on both consoles.
As far as launch parity goes I can understand wanting a multiplatform indie game to launch at the same time on your console as your competitor I think it is foolish to just rubber stamp this on everyone. If a developer has already got a game that is ready for launch on another console they should not have to wait just because they want to become par...
Most likely they will bring MP3 capability back; however, unless the Blu-ray player that is in the PS4 has the correct wavelength laser in it they will never be able to play CD's directly.
As far as the other complaints go, good luck with that. There is more chance of me getting a sunburn in Canada right now :)
I could not agree more. The problem is that the mobile market moved in and basically stole their thunder. Portable tech these days has to do pretty much everything under the sun for people to buy it now.
Nintendo seems to be the only ones able to make a go of this market anymore and I suspect that is only because they have a pretty diehard fan base. I suspect that this market is going to disappear at least in its current form.
@iamnsuperman Ukraine is supposedly democratic too and how is that working for them? So is Iraq and now Afghanistan. How exactly is that working for them? I did not deny that they had a democratic government. Many countries go around claiming to be democratic when in fact they have a ruling gov't that cannot be voted out because of rigged elections. So I really don't see your point. I was not picking on them I was asking a valid question to determine whether the writer of this a...
Has the author of this article even bothered to check whether any of these countries even allow Xbox Live? We are talking about old Soviet Block countries here that are still basically dictatorships or dictatorships disguised as democracies. Just look at China. You have not even been able to buy a console legally in China for the last 14 years.
I have my doubts that MS is refusing to accept money from a customer that wants to give it to them.
@MorePowerOfG...
I agree it is a fabulous idea. Obviously the majority of people will not bother to use this but even if you get 1% of owners to use this you will have potentially tens of thousands of people trying to develop games. Admittedly most will suck and that is where MS will have to use a good filtering system so you don't end up with a mess like you have with Android apps but in the end there could be some great things come out of this.
The only reason that you see negativity ...

Well, here in New Brunswick, Canada with 3 kids and electric heat it costs on average about $200 per month. Obviously less in the summer but in the winter the heating drives it up. I am all for relevant studies but I am sorry this is rather pointless.
Wait, I just thought of something. It gave Maria another opportunity to Troll.
@arugula The Xbox One is meant to be in standby mode so that the Kinect can turn on the console when you tell it to. Think about...
