Both Sony and MS time their events as much as they can to get an advantage on what either might be doing at the time. Nothing unusual... just marketing strategy.
After BF1 I just don't care anymore. The game has become nothing but an ever-growing CTE experiment. The game is not close to being as good as it was at launch. It has much worse netcode/servers and ridiculous choices in gameplay changes each patch. They are totally lost.
BF1 has turned me to look back at COD which I haven't been interested in since Modern Warfare.
@DaGreatOne - To be fair PS4 only really this year started producing more exclusives than XB1 had. At the beginning, they were dry and lacking compared to XB1.
Except you don't usually see such sales prior to Black Friday. What you see here is Sony getting ahead of the XB1X release by enticing their users to spend their money on their games instead of possibly looking at that new system coming out on 7 Nov.
If they are exclusive to that console then pretty sure there is no comparison to that game on other systems. So a bit redundant is it not?

@andrewsquall - PS4 Pro was released 1 year ago with near zero enhanced games.(go ahead and list any games enhanced when it was released) XB1X is not even released yet and has 162 officially announced as Xbox One X Enhanced.
Remember that at up until just recently Xbox is the one that had more exclusives. So Playstation got its majority user base not on exclusives but something else.
Playing all games at the best quality experience on consoles for a fraction above the cost of the competitors PS4 Pro offering. Which the PS4 Pro is giving far less improvements to its basic PS4 system and offering even less by removing the optical audio output. Why gimp a system that is supposed to be an improvement?

PS4 Pro was released with zero big name titles and XB1X will release at a much larger userbase percentage for it than PS4 Pro.
PS4 Pro upon release did not offer even a fraction of what XB1X offers for gamers in game return upon its release. Devs and the gaming world are now proclaiming XB1X as the best thing since sliced bread when it comes to consoles.
And people are somehow thinking that all this positive attention for XB1X is negative yet fanboys st...
Creating new code to let it work is permissible but modifying or using the original code in any way is not permissible.
