Though I agree with the idea games should be playable right out of the box without all this download garbage and constant patches and updates. (looking at you DICE) I do find issue with the thought she is using dial-up. When talking about 10-16mbps connections. I had a cable connection (no cable is not the same as dial-up) with only 2mbps and it was dead slow compared to what she is talking on.

A percentage of a number that still is not shared is still not revealing. All numbers are speculative off of a lot of data sourcing by others. Neither MS nor Sony has given actual direct numbers from what I have seen.
With that though... if Sony says Pro is 20% of their PS4 sales then that would mean at 5 million Pro sales they are expecting at 25 million overall sales for 2018. Either Pro sales will increase hugely in 2018 by estimate or a ridiculous amount of sales in PS...
And best part is the games I have already for x360 I can now play co-op with my son. Him playing on his x360 and me playing on the XB1.

You have just to look at the Platform charts to see that current systems aren't coming close to selling as they once did. (with just a few exceptions)
And the total sales numbers across consoles and software are what is being discussed. Not a single title or system that might have a semi-popular bump in sales.
