True that a lot of RPGs have a built-in grind to them if the player chooses to take that route.
No... because not every online game ever created is a grind. Many such online games can be enjoyed simply for the competition against other opponents. The opposite of grinding for the sake of grinding.
That's like saying my girlfriend does everything Sasha Grey can do.

This article really needs to be removed because it is about as Fake as they come. They totally got the idea that it was anything more than a prediction wrong.
Except the source was actually a 2 November Prediction. http://www.cmo.com/adobe-di...
That was all November 2, 2017 prediction numbers. None of this is actual data. http://www.cmo.com/adobe-di...
I guess nobody paid attention to what they were actually reading? This was Adobi prediction that was actually posted November 2, 2017. This particular article has nothing to do with actual sales numbers and was only a prediction base done almost 4 weeks ago.
Notice that all the data matches up with the information they predicted on 2 November. 2976d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment
November 7, 2017... really? Do you think digging up an article from almost 3 weeks ago that rehashes the line that XB1X is not needed or wanted? Talk about damage control...
They can simply go the way of DOA5 where they flood the game with DLC clothes and stuff. Easy to make and profitable. Annoying for sure seeing that much DLC but maybe they can group the items into larger sets to reduce pages of DLC purchase items like DOA5.
$573 US dollars. How is that a deal?
They will still only likely have the single dev team and are simply looking at polishing work on Days Gone and release it around the same time as State of Decay 2 is released for XB1.
They are hiring new people for heading the new game and current team will likely move over as soon as the other title is launched and new title has reached a stage of planning.
Not so when Devs are already working on PC versions of games which is very common. Enhanced textures in those cases are really little than assigning textures to XB1X build.
And even when only a PS4 Pro or XB1X version is worked on... the idea of 4K textures being a time-consuming portion of the build is laughable.
So what then was PS4 Pro and their excuse then that they couldn't or wouldn't update the system to any kind of reasonable increase in level when compared to PS4? MS went above and beyond in an increase of power giving a huge leap in resolution and power with XB1X but Sony chose just enough increase to support the PSVR and little more.
There seriously is no way in knocking the XB1X and its improvements over XB1 without knocking PS4 Pro even more harshly so with thei...
Well no, it is only really the same if you play it at the same resolution. I have to imagine you don't play games at 4K to understand where the real difference is easily seen in regards to the resolution. Yes, at lower TV resolutions you will basically see far fewer differences... but on better TVs you will.
Little difference than when many of us talked that they couldn't tell the difference between HD TV and regular TV. Or Bluray vs DVD. Saw it all the time where p...
So basically the guy was just giving an educated guess from his viewpoint on how it might happen. A lot of "I think". "I guess", "probably why" types of answers and remarks in the article.
"we’ve already seen over 26 million hours of gameplay around the world" - so if 1 million people bought the game then that is only 26 hours each? That is not even 1hr a day of playing since release. Seems kind of low for an AAA title racing game. Just saying... why would you lead with that?
Are you talking in a specific time period? Because XB1S started selling in August of last year. So 5 months versus 2 months is a big difference in available market purchases.
@JackBNimble - point being that resolution enhances graphics to the point of making some graphics much better. Instead of graphics appearing jagged or non-clear at distance, resolution corrects these graphics to the point of making them viewable. If you have 4K graphics (graphics made specifically to a 4K game) and watch them on 1080p then for sure they will look washed out in comparison.
And yes some patches are 4K graphics patches... so those are a huge difference for ma...
"Those 3rd party games just don't have the same level of expectations as these Sony first Party games."
Pretty sure RDR2, Anthem, and many other titles are surely being looked at under a microscope by gamers. Expectations are equally as high for 3rd party titles as 1st. Otherwise, these 3rd party games wouldn't be as purchased as they are.
@Immorals - How do you consider the Pro not that much more than the Slim when they were $200 difference in the prices this last weekend? You could have bought 2 Slims for the price of a Pro.
@spreadlove - the ratio was actually closer to 5:1 and that was only since Pro started selling.
