Seriously why are these people even in charge when they can't communicate with the people they are tasked to communicate with?
@Nyxus - Why should it be considered when all we have heard from Sony Fanboys on XB1X selling out in places was that selling out short supply is nothing special? We can't claim XB1X had short supply as the reason for selling out places and then say the reason XB1X is selling more than PS4 Pro and Switch is because they had short supply.
@capjacksparrow - if only exclusives mattered to the majority of players you would imagine they would actually sell better than they do versus multiplatform games. They don't even come close.
"...i cant even finish my back log on ps4" - and I can't even finish my backlog of XB1 games. But when I get an XB1X come tax time I for sure will be finishing as many as I can at a much better gaming experience.
"...impressive but not a game changer" - except for the fact where it literally changes the games that are played on it to a much better version of said game.
@UCForce - not even close to being the same infestation. Xbox Fanboys on PS articles are more like shooing away a fly from your meal. While PS Fanboys on Xbox articles are more like having your meal devoured by a thousand cockroaches.
@ uptownsoul - he quantified his statement with the fact he is talking only about games that take advantage of the new platform and not just titles playable on it via BC.
"Serious question. Most modern consoles launched with ~20 titles on day one. I’m not talking back-compat – I’m talking new titles that take advantage of the new platform. This can be re-masters, games that ship on past-gen and new gen, or new-gen exclusives. Quick search: X1 had 22. PS4 had 23, Pro ha...
@Unreal01 - the reason Pro was not considered a beast upon release was that it did not really push the games past what PS4 was already capable of. No leap... more of a shuffle at best. The issue with Pro is that it closer in comparison to XB1S than it is with XB1X.
XB1X is not a beast simply because it is the top performer but because it is the top performer in the same way that Usain Bolt was the top runner.
Really? That is what everyone figured? Because why again...? Because as a PSFanboy you have faith in that so-called realization?
We already know that prior to release date that estimated pre-orders were near 1million. And analysts are now thinking that the estimates are grossly undervalued.
Keep fighting the power. XB1X sales are likely to sale much better than did PS4 Pro and even with the larger price point.
"The Xbox One X Is A Tough Sell" and yet it is selling easily. Go figure.
@gbsrnctaln - doesn't change the point that any HDMI cable will give you 4K and HDR. You don't need a special HDMI cable for 4K or HDR. The new format will deal with supporting resolutions above 4K, up to as much as 10K.
You read correctly... his story is little more than the spreading of myth. https://www.cnet.com/news/d...
Nice story... https://www.cnet.com/news/d...
Well if you actually add those to the list of available games that you can play on XB1 then it would be more than what can be played on PS4. But that is not even where players are going when saying they have games on XB1.
I bet you I own and play more games on my Xbox than the vast majority of PS4 owners.
The idea Xbox has no games is the most inaccurate response to any conversation. It's like saying Warren Buffett has no money simply because Bill Gates is richer.
"Well the Xbox console's value proposition takes a MASSIVE hit when the titles are available on PC." - in saying that you are then surmising that games offered on PS4 and on PSP or PS Vita then PS4 console takes a MASSIVE hit. It does not. Offering a game that is playable across multiple platforms to play with a single purchase point actually buffs the worth of Xbox console. It is something that even Sony realizes they need to get invested in and are doing so in their own way wi...
Give me a GTA game in an average size town where I can go into every single building. And have those buildings look unique and not have any transition when going into said buildings. Then I will be impressed.
Not even close. When looking at consoles throughout the years along with prices adjusted for inflation $500 is cheap. Especially for what it has to offer compared to other consoles on the market.
Visceral wasn't likely worried either. Look how that turned out.
