@UltraNova - except the other options for each console that weigh out the difference in the minor exclusive difference. Seeing that every 3rd party game will run better on the XB1X kind of shuts down a lot of thought that the 80% is equal. Little different than what Sony claimed with PS3 and PS4 before XB1X was announced.
In Asia that has been really the phrase since Xbox originally came out. And it really has not deterred them from being a formidable name in gaming.
Asia has lost a huge impact on gaming for some time now and has lost most of its game influence to EU which has picked up the slack when the Asia gaming bubble popped. We see so many more strong studios coming out of EU now. Almost like they have become a new hub for Developers.
@GrubsterBeater - actually not so much. Developers, for the most part, will support a console as long as they have a good base to draw gamers. Neither Sony nor MS are going to be of such a lesser point against each other that they won't be a draw to developers.

Barely anyone is playing VR at all, regardless of title. Less so than those that likely played Kinect games. VR has not come far enough to be anything but a gimmick more than not. It is the 'Virtual Boy' of modern times.

You had 6 exclusives compared to a single AAA non-exclusive title. The make-up of games available to gamers is far different than what you present in the scenario.

They make more on XBLG subscriptions and Developer percentages than they ever could dropping their system and simply transferring into a software only company.
This is as bad an idea as is PS Now. Game stream playing is just not a viable option now or in the near future. The resources can't handle the lag issues.
I never liked NBA Live because the characters never felt to me like they were actually running down the court and more so like they were skating down the court.

@MegamanXXX - First off, PC is a moot point on the discussion of consoles. Secondly, PC exclusives, for the most part, aren't as big a thing as on console. The exclusives that are there do little more than make a PC user upgrade their PC and not make people go out and buy PCs.And the really good games most likely eventually show up on console if they are worth the time to play.
