PS4 Pro was made by Sony simply to push PSVR. So if you want to play PSVR then you should obviously get it. If not then you can save a lot of money by purchasing the cheaper model if you don't have 4K. Simple as that.
They spent so much on the Ad that their deals suck.

Only up to 40% off.
There... fixed. Now everyone can stop complaining because he mentioned something that wasn't Playstation. Now the statement stays true on its own merits. Happy?
@nix - "As for the best games, look at GOTY nominees on Games Award.. 4 out of 5 games are exclusives.
Really let's take a quick look at exactly what you said... search 2017 Gaming Awards and direct hit for '2017 GAMING AWARDS NOMINEES' https://gaming.sxsw.com/awa...
And what do we find? 4 Multi-Platform and 1 Exclusive. And the Exclusive one this year. Doe...
You are missing the main point of the entire situation. The so-called Dev that got death threats was a liar. He was not a Dev and has not proven to be factual in his reports of being threatened. And everyone is pointing at HIS situation as a flag bearing moment to rally behind. And yet it is a complete farce.
If you don't like the way I type then feel free to attack me personally in any way you want. Pretty sure I am not going to cry about it. Though it is funny that y...
Obviously, the Fanboys haven't a clue what the discussion point is even on. XB1X is not being compared with PS4 or PS4 Slim it is being compared to its rival which is PS4 Pro and its sales. And at every turn the XB1X is proving to out perform the PS4 Pro upon its launch.
Why is any of this even an issue? Because the Fanboys cried that XB1X would fail to sell due to its price compared to the PS4 Pro. And yet it has done so easily against it during launch.
"Xbox One X Launch Week Sales Much Higher Than PS4 Pro, 80000 Units Sold In UK"
"As per Xbox marketing manager Aaron Greenberg on Twitter, there have been “great” initial results from the United Kingdom with similar numbers in Europe."
Tell me again how XB1X is failing? When it is beating its closest comparable rival (PS4 Pro) at every turn then pretty sure it points to a good thing.
@4Sh0w - "So long as I can ignore them and continue to unlock everything at a normal pace I won’t be upset." point being that another user has figured out the time to level up just the card portion of the game and it came out to something like 4,500+ hours. Do you call that a normal pace? It builds in the near requirement to purchase items to level before you hit retirement age.
But if a fake persona is being attacked on twitter is anyone really being attacked? If threats actually were received from this fake person then would it be a threat against the persona or the person acting as the said persona?
Obviously, then your point of "I've been on the internet since 1996" is ignorant of the situation where social media is rampant with such causation.
And the idea that you can't have "...friends, relationships, stuff like that..." because you use any type of social media enough to be aware of how people interact with it. Well, that is just you being naive.
And the funny thing about all of this is the guy was not a Dev and lied...
He received 7 death threats and 1600 personal attacks. Personal attacks are when a person calls you names or simply attacks you in a negative way versus talking real issues.
If you have not had a death threat since 1996 then you either don't spend much time on reddit, twitter or other social media or you really bore the hell out of others when you do talk.
Simple answer is... No.
And the guy poorly thinks that MS is going to go the way of game streaming to compete in the future. I guess he hasn't realized that game streaming is not the way of the near future or beyond.
Ask PS Now how well their service is doing. Streaming games regardless of cloud or any other online function is just a step backward. Lag alone is disastrous.
No gamer should ever worry about what the other console puts out in regards to systems. Nothing will cause either company to go bankrupt. Not like either company is Sega and has money issues.
The rivalry only helps gamers in the long run. Forcing each company to step up to the others advancements.
The only thing each company has to worry about is their own marketing.
In short:
"Grand Total
There is a grand total of 324 cards. Upgrading these will require a total of 155,520 crafting parts. This requires opening a grand total of 3,111 loot crates which will require 4,528 hours of gameplay."
"Final cost in crystals
The 600 credits received from a hero crate is worth 27% the cost of a hero crate. This is equivalent to 30 crystals. To account for this, I reduced the cost of a hero crate fro...
@thekhurg - you have a link to the other changes? I haven't been able to find any such verification that mirrors your statement.
"If you don't like that a game features loot boxes and / or microtransactions simply keep your money in your pocket and don't buy it. Problem solved." - if only things were that easy. They never are now are they?
For sure threats and simply yelling for the sake of yelling really does nothing to promote an issue. But the idea of simply completely not supporting a franchise or game because of an issue is not a very valid argument in most situations. You are...
Not seeing anything where the Switch does anything that is really far off from what other consoles have to offer? My family is playing together all the time on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Not seeing where a console really beats another in this category when each offers games for people to get together and play.
So tell us all, what is so special about the Switch that makes it awe-inspiring to watch it happen?
Making a lot out of nothing. The Internet is full of such threats each and every day. What makes the Dev so special in his receiving threats over the rest of us that get threatened every day?
@VER1ON - and yet he commented on the game pointing out that users were wrong in some of their observations and did little but say they were not accurate without giving valid reasons as to why they were not accurate in their claims.
"Incidentally, the wording is a bit weird, but what it means is that PS4 Pro did 50K in a week, and 80k in 4 weeks in the UK, not 50K in four weeks." - correct. PS4 Pro did 50K the first week and then in the next 3 weeks added another 30K sold. Which totaled 80K in 4 weeks time.
So if buying trend matched same for XB1X it would likely be sitting at around 128K for XB1X after 4 weeks. But way too many factors to simply look at sales being a simple 60% return of 3 ...
So should a game in early access that isn't even complete that is getting more play than most finished games out this year be considered for GOTY? Why not? If the players are enjoying it that much then so be it. If it has something going for it that makes fans love it this much then it must have something.
