"...who do you think sells the most xbox consoles?" - Walmart, Best Buy, Cosco, and the such. Microsoft and Sony both rely more on regular retail outlets than they do on gaming outlets in terms of system sales.

@Woolly_ EA is about a 25 billion dollar company. Valve is not a publicly traded company but it is estimated to be about 10 billion dollar company. (estimated based off primary shareholder being worth around 4 billion and holding over 50% of share and aligned with previous estimate growth) Bluehole would be a relatively small acquisition and not sure if it brings any true value to Microsoft other than a simple Stable acquisition in terms of exclusivity and pushing the narrative of marketing v...

Not seeing how Horde mode would work feasibly with the fight mechanics of dealing with the werewolves being quick time oriented?

"At least in something like Dark Souls or Bloodborne there is a story that backs up slaughtering demons/beasts." I have to assume you never finished Dark Souls then or just didn't bother to follow the lore? Because you quickly realize there is no definitive right and wrong in Dark Souls.

@Kingthrash360 - you and others keep coming back to this idea that you are paying $10 (stop with the entire $9.99 nonsense... we know it is basically $10) for a single title. You are not. You are purchasing access to 100+ titles.

The idea that Game Pass does not offer blockbuster titles is false as there are many such titles in its stable. And it choosing to add every upcoming first party line-up to Game Pass is far from a negative for gamers, there is absolutely no downsi...

@MakoD - why do I keep finding you in every XB1 related article trying to spread your "nothing burger" idea?

Your arguments are very poor at best. And the analogy of "LOL Games are freaking cheap... why rent a car for freaking $25,000 when you can buy one for $25,000." in relation to Game Pass totally fails as it insinuates a single game versus what is actually being offered which is 100+ games. And FYI the reason a person spends money to lease (people ...

@NecrumOddBoy - bad timing on the attempted slam of servers being empty on XB1 when PSN issues caused even a large event like #FIFAeWorldCup to get moved to Xbox. A huge fiasco for Sony. https://twitter.com/Futhead...

@MakoD - a big nothing burger that will earn billions of added revenue on a revolving basis. I am guessing you are not much of a businessman.

Expect Sony to follow suit at a later date as the did with PSN in reaction to XBL so well for Microsoft. Both Sony and MS see a large portion of their revenue coming from PSN and XBL. It is a revolving money train that makes them billions. Game Pass and PSnow can be equally as lucrative if they shore up their appeal to gamers.

"State of Decay became an instant hit on Xbox Live with more than 250,000 units sold in just two days when it launched in June 2013. The game would sell 700,000 units in its first month and hit one million units in October 2013." -VGChartz

It actually did pretty decent numbers and State of Decay 2 is expected to do a lot more with the availability of multiplayer being added to it.

Pretty sure Crackdown 3 was expected to see a few million easy a...

You can still purchase the game out right and with a big discount. Doesn't remove any availability to purchase a game.

It basically adds revenue to game pass and gives users a free months worth of play minimum to get hooked on the game. They can then purchase if the game is not on game pass the following month.

It for sure gives many more players an opportunity to play a game they might not otherwise have been interested in. Opening up games for lar...

For those thinking they no longer have to keep their pre-order for a game they were looking forward to coming up... this does not dictate the titles will be on Game Pass for any specific amount of time. So though you will likely get at least a months time of free play from a new title it is not guaranteed that game will be on game pass for as long as the other titles that have already been included.

Though game pass does offer a percentage off of game titles when purchased...

EA bought VG Holding Corp which owned Bioware so technically EA owns Jade Empire IP.

How old is this game? How relevant can a review at this point in time really be?

"Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning could quite possibly be the PS3's answer to Fable." the review is from like 2011... why is it even here now on N4G?

Wow, this article is like a grade school report handed in that got a B-. And it comes off as a kid that took some information near verbatim from something he read and loosely reworded parts of it before he handed in his work.
