All those Xbox fans sitting with their Game Pass laughing at the idea they are starving for good games to play. Sony fans are funny when they comment on what Xbox fans want or think.
@Sm00thNinja - didn't need to dig at all. simply went to approximately the time frame of release of game and looked. Got it on first click. Wasn't hard at all.
I read this and immediately thought... 'I bet this guy likes Death Stranding'. And of course a quick check... "Sea of Thieves and NMS ARE ABSOLUTELY NOT WORSE AND I LOVE DEATH STRANDING THUS FAR, MAYBE AT LAUNCH BOTH GAMES HAVE EVOLVED TREMENDOUSLY stop spotting outdated nonsense".
"It's almost overwhelming how strange the world of Death Stranding is, it really is a strange genre of game. It feels like at this point I'm just playing a movie, ...
@sprinterboy - "the total cost of buying-back 100 million old PS4 units" the exaggeration is in focus on an unrealistic turn in rate to suggest an impossible buy back option for Sony and PS4. When we have seen far larger numbers from other companies doing similar options with no qualms.
You are exaggerating the numbers to justify your point. Trade-in offers likely look at getting at most a 15~20% buy in of userbase (that is not consoles sold) to invest in said offers. It is little different than a rebate system that advertises rebate packages for new sales.
@shaggy2303 - the purpose of trade-ins is also to get older models off the street so people are playing the newer model. Just giving people a discount does not reduce the number of PS4s still being played or resold for others to play and lessen chance of old system competition.
"How great would it be to be able to trade-in your OG Playstation 4 for an instant $75 off the Playstation 5?" PS4 Slims are selling used for near $300... why do we imagine getting $75 for a PS4 OG would be a good deal in any way???
"Still, there’s no denying that Death Stranding is likely very deserving of many of the nominations that it has and as such is a worthy contender." - point being that the biggest reason of conflict is that many simply don't believe it to be deserving regardless of his involvement in it. They point to his involvement as being a catalyst to its nomination as well a potential conflict over-all in the voting process.
I disagree with the Apex Legends gift idea. Simply for the fact that many gifts like this are for people that want to be able to gift their child in game currency but be able to wrap it and put it under the tree. My son has asked for money to be added to his gamer account on Xbox as his Christmas gift. Not something I can wrap but surely something that he is desperately anticipating.
I have actually purchased a Fortnite add-on pack in store and wrapped it to place under th...
Saying a game that is a complete pain while playing it is finally good after playing it is basically calling it the equivalent of a long hard dump that you are relieved to have finished.
And yet it is a far better story than Death Stranding... go figure. (and it is actually enjoyable to play too)
I like how people are taking the "Nobody has time for this" and treating it as a time management statement when it clearly is him saying that the game is a waste of his time.
Answer: because they really need the sales to compete with Days Gone.
Was watching a Korean Serial TV show and it was obviously sponsored by Subway because every time the lawyers went out to eat they ended up at Subway.
Blatant over use of advertisements can really take you out of the game or show itself.
Don't have to be fun... but they do have to be entertaining.
Kind of pointless... most major reviewers will simply buy a copy themselves then and by-pass any required review period limitations.
"Not saying it's not true" - yep... pretty much that is what you are insinuating.
i saw the "NEXT" button on the bottom of the first page and new they were trying to sucker me into 10 more chances to earn some form of relevance.
If you have to put the info on separate pages to earn clicks then I will NEXT you.
Dead at launch.
Phil's statement - “I have some issues with VR — it’s isolating and I think of games as a communal, kind of together experience. We’re responding to what our customers are asking for and… nobody’s asking for VR. The vast majority of our customers know if they want a VR experience, there’s places to go get those. We see the volumes of those on PC and other places.”
And Yoshida - (´-`).。oO(we oftentimes work hard to make things that no customers are asking for them) ...
