I had heard zero on any outrage suggested in the article. sure it obviously was pointed out in a few ignorant reviews but hardly something that caused the game to not do as well as it could have.
I for one am a person that started playing the game when it hit Game Pass and totally love it! But prior to it coming on Game Pass I had given it a hard pass. Not because of some so called media outrage that I never even knew existed but because of the points of the game that I did...
Stuff like this makes the idea of "Game Pass and PS Now are just renting games and I want to own my games" far less meaningful.
Sorry though Xbox ergonomics of their controllers are top notch I simply can't back Microsoft in the controller argument because of the poor build quality of their controllers. I am yet again going out to buy another controller because of ghost movement with the latest controller I purchased. Had the Phantom White controller for less than a week before the ghosting became an issue. The idea I would spend the kind of money asked for an elite Controller after the horrendous 1st version of i...
The issue with game reviews today is that they are not actually reviews but tend to be the 'how I feel about the game' versus an actual review. If you want to do that then just give a thumbs up or down and get it over with. A real review gives an in depth review of the game in its entirety. It applies points to areas of the game like the old days.Graphics, Sound, Control, Funfactor. And then lay out why each category is scored the way they are and how each category is weighted per thi...
Point being that you there are more ridiculous high scores than ridiculous low scores. you can't just remove one from each end of the spectrum and call it a day because it pushes your agenda. You take the 'lot' of ridiculous scores and simply remove them. And the 'lot' at the top are in more egregious category than those at the bottom.
"If you subtract the ridiculously low reviews" wouldn't it then be prudent to subtract the 'ridiculously high reviews' then in turn?
Their list:
1. Better Gunplay and More Weapons
2. Fewer Fetch Quests, Please
3. More Interesting Perks
4. A More Cohesive Open World
5. Better Enemy Variety and AI

@MrVux000 - "PS Now is still a Playstation service, that essentially streams games from another PS3/PS4 HW" that is not true in the least. You do not need a console to play or use PS Now. all you need is a PC. You might need to do a little research before you go spouting rhetoric that is absolutely false. The games are streamed from a cloud service.
It's a good deal if you are not looking to play new titles.
I can order a meal and finish it completely and still give it a negative review. I can watch a movie and sit through the entire show and still write a negative review. I can be in a relationship with someone and eventually move on from it after trying to make it work... and still give my assessment of how bad the relationship was. I can purchase a video game spending well earned money and try my damnedest to get to the end of it in hopes it improves later in the game. And still write a negati...
I like how people are looking at some aspects of the report and not other aspects of it. Let us not forget the over-all picture:
Revenue was $33.1 billion and increased 14%
Operating income was $12.7 billion and increased 27%
Net income was $10.7 billion and increased 21%
Diluted earnings per share was $1.38 and increased 21%
I pre-loaded it long ago. Not sure what he is referring to here?
Ha... people still trying to say 'The Order: 1886' was underrated. Tell you what... I think it was even overrated for how poorly it did what it was supposed to do. The boss fights alone were a gross negligent developers... "I just tossed in repetitive QTE to fill the game out" moment.
And 'Alien Isolation'... really? No way he actually played that game and thought it was good! I bought the game and was so pissed at how bad it was. It was simply a h...
Simply the worst list ever. Doesn't even include the Sega Saturn or Dreamcast and has the Switch at #4...WTF?
Just shows that investing money into a service encourages users to make the most of their purchase. Obviously those that don't spend money into GamePass are less likely to invest money into games played. Simple marketing.
"I played the game for a short bit and after about 3 matches I knew it wasn’t the game for me. Building ramps or small bases that get destroyed in a matter of seconds, trying to be the last team or survivor." - this is the complete premise behind his hate and nothing else. He got owned... and admitted people told him "Delete the game". Guy was awfule and wanted to right an article about how bad the game is failing to make himself feel better. It is still seeing the highest...
Do we know what the base model is going to be? We know the Pro upscales from 1440p to 4K but what is the base model resolution... we have not heard that yet as far as I know? Anyone got info?

Neither Monster Hunter World nor Horizon Zero Dawn is as good as KCD. Both of the games you mentioned are less so great and simply good games in their own right.
