Damn I hate articles that just bait you to a video. if I wanted to just sit through a video I would have gone to Youtube. Edit: wait... that wasn't even a video. It was a screen grab from a video. lol

While other games are making you pay for their game up front and then having you pay for DLC that is already often already in the game but just locked behind a key. People laugh at Fortnite but it by far is the only game out there right now doing it the correct way. And everyone trying to mirror their system has simply failed to do it properly and turned players away more than entice them to play more.

Why? Not like any of the Microtransactions are pay-to-win in the least. Of all the so called MTs in games Fortnite has the least obtrusive of the bunch. they have even gone so far as to allow their pay single player 'Save the World' to give free V-Bucks to use in their free online game portion. Technically you can turn over the V-Bucks earned in the BattlePass each season to purchase the next seasons Battle Pass with V-Bucks left over.

The only thing Epic has done ...

Imagine if your PlayStation had a service where every 1st party game you wanted to play was available on it at launch? Imagine then that same service also had many 3rd party games that too are available at launch day one. No waiting for disk order or returning and then ordering another. The option to sample titles that you had been interested in but never quite pulled the trigger on. just waiting to be played at a moments whim.

GamePass has allowed so many games that I want...

Kojima is basically the Andy Warhol of video games. Most people look at his work and say... meh. while others toss money and accolades at him.

Right... because waiting 2 days for a game to be mailed to you and then you get to play that game until you have to return it and wait for another game is so much better than having numerous games at your finger tips to play whenever you want.

VR is little different to Kinect in that it has a very limited market and does not present an easy platform to market to. The game types that take advantage of each are really not the mainstream types of games that sell. Most all VR games are gimmicky at best and offer really little more than a sampling of gaming in many cases.

Nope. and VR is not picking up any steam. it is simply moving along at the same rate it always has.

The author Jason Stettner needs to get a new job. This read like a 6th grader.

@oldenjon and @Loktai, well that idea is just asinine as GamePass is so much more than just the exclusives.Though you get exclusives day 1 on release you also get a myriad of other titles to play that are far superior to any other offer out there. In no way was he talking simply exclusives in the first place because the conversation itself was on GamePass.

With that said you think only 10% are in the category of "not boring".

These are just the games that came out December of this year alone:

Halo Reach (added December 3rd 2019)
My Friend Pedro (added December 5th 2019)
Naturo to Boruto: Shinobi Striker (added December 5th 2019)
Demon's Tilt (added December 6th 2019)
Wandersong (added December 6th 2019)
Ticket to Ride (added December 10th 2019)

Right... because ventilation designed in a v shape is clearly maximized ventilation and has nothing to do with the roman numeral V for PS5. Not sure they would put a patent on simply a Dev Kit design... my thoughts unless they wise up is that their design won't be far off the Dev Kit.

If you imagine by any chance that this so called design is a maximized airflow that somehow PC builders had zero sense in realizing until Sony suddenly patented it... well you are reachin...

To be fair...production costs of each system will not be contracted with July 2020 costs. A deal will be made much earlier than that. Also, it would only cost more in terms of graphics cards because those babies just aren't going down anytime soon.

Sony needs to quickly show their system. The media keeps using the only available representation of their console appearance which is the poorly designed Beta unit.

Shocker... Japanese developers supporting their own. Nothing unusual in Japan... typical Japanese Nationalism. I remember while in Japan finding out how hard it was to get US snowboard equipment. (friend ran a snowboarding shop) Seems the Japanese thought their snow was so different that foreign boards oddly did not meet standards to suit snowboarders needs or something like that. (this was back in the 80's) They come up with some of the stupidest ideas to push their own stuff and force o...

"Don’t get me wrong: The Elite controller is great for giving you options. But, giving the PlayStation 5 controller those buttons by default would be a huge advantage for Sony." - it appears he is talking in terms of giving PS5 controller an advantage over Xbox Series X controller.
