A big part of Zelda is about exploration, about being a kid again. Look at how in so many games you become a child, it's about being a small person in a big world.
When we are children everything around us is a new experience, there are so many things waiting for us to go out and find. Zelda was born out of experiences by Miyamoto, when he would explore his surroundings outside the home and when he entered a dark cave and explored it. A lot of Zelda stems from that insp...
With more people using Live for Videos and Music than online games, I don't think MS wants to go back into just the gaming business. They see more money in marketing Xbox as your one stop destination for your entertainment needs. Games will certainly be a part of it, but don't expect a "games first" policy, look to see less exclusives compared to PS4, or WiiU.
I'm interested in games first so I'm fairly certain I will pass on the next Xbox (if my ass...
Just about any rep from a Final Fantasy game would be awesome. Nintendo has played host to the first half of FF's history, and I really enjoyed having Snake in Brawl (born from Kojima's desire to have Snake in Smash Bros).
If the next Smash Bros did get a FF character, It would be safe to assume it would be Cloud (I don't play FF so my pool of characters is limited). Would be nice to see a third party get a rep
Need a rep from Golden Sun and Tales of Symphonia
Yoga may not be gaming, but it does net you tons of money
Looks like a prototype, I would expect something a little more sleek in the final. Also I don't think they will keep a large glowing bar on the top.
More importantly is how it feels (also I'm surprised on what you can do with a thin strip).
Feb. 20th awaits
I wouldn't be surprised if it is like what they had in Mario Galaxy, where if you beat the game with all the stars you get to play it again as luigi, the difference being he slides and is more awkward to use. Expect that but perhaps more difficult stages based off the originals, to add an additional challenge and another means to play it again.
The game went from "high" PC settings to low settings, it just doesn't look like a close to maximized current gen title, especially given its reputation (the demo looked amazing). The added textures, lighting, and shaders looked to have gotten stripped from final release, like they made the demo then realized they didn't have the funding to continue it a decided to keep the lower quality consistent throughout
Unless there is something I'm missing, ther...
Wait, you were playing it for the story? Like Call of Duty, everyone plays it for multiplayer. SSE was there to make 1 player enjoyable.
Prime 1 is definitely superior to Prime 2. Not just because it came before, but Prime 1 had more diverse locales, the dark world and portal jumping got tiring and stale (a little too much purple), and the difficulty in Echoes was a bit too much for my liking.
Not that Echoes was bad, just that Prime 1 is the 3D Metroid you could ever want, it's the definitive Metroid experience for 3D. You could make a lot of comparisons between Prime and Super, both amazing titles in the...
Games like Bioshock and Metroid Prime sure put FPS's on another level. More than just graphics or kill count, they are about atmosphere, creating a believable world. A world we won't want to forget
Ahh yes, the good ole "TV to game" cash-in
The tralier sounds like it will be pretty cheesy (goes with the graphics I suppose)
Also, you sure this isn't a Wii exclusive?
Most interesting part for me started around 2:20. It weird how much it has changed.
It's like going from low PC settings to high. The difference is that noticeable from demo to final
Can anyone confirm it's like this for all versions?
Another win for Nintendo eShop. Certainly a bright spot for the WiiU
This is the kind of game you make for the WiiU. Your phone becomes the gamepad, manage systems, streets, and your map. You could even add a Co-op aspect where one person ues the pro controller for shooting and movement while another is using the gamepad for you, like you're working with someone else to call the shots (the whole asymmetrical gameplay theme Nintendo has)
The WiiU certainly feels like the more dominant version (unless there are things we don't know about...
Personally I'm a major fan of both Donkey Kong Country 2 and Metroid Prime
They reserve the 'right', not that they will no matter what. Besides, a press release by Ubi said they make exceptions to this kind of stuff, but only on "special occasions". [I don't have the reference specifically, it was back on a site last week].
What Ubi could have done, was hold back on negotiations for multiplat, release Rayman for WiiU, then make final commitments to multiplat. MS can't yank the game from thousands of stores and homes. Prob...
Gabe Newell would hunt her down. Then end the world in a fiery explosion.
No one must know of its existance
RE4 is about as far as they should've gone. It had more action than normal but enough strategy and its share of scary moments to be Resident Evil. Playing the Resident Evil 1 remake for GC it's interesting how well made the scares were, it's apparent they aren't even trying to scare un anymore. There was talk of a reboot, honestly getting back to its roots would be awesome, been awhile (except Revelations) since we've had that kind of RE. I still really like RE4's game...
Not to make excuses, but Nintendo Land was a "look at all the interesting things you can do with the gamepad". Wii Sports was the same way, it showed all the simple ways Motion Control was fun and intuitive. I found it odd NL wasn't in every WiiU, since it seemed to fulfill the same purpose as Sports.
More importantly, what this tells us is that the WiiU isn't going to succeed on novelty alone. The WiiU is in a precarious situation because it's not casu...
