EShop should become a full-fledged service, like Steam on a Nintendo Console. Access outside of the WiiU (like on a PC or smartphone), weekly deals and add-ons, a hub for Indie and 3rd party developers alike. They need to challenge the weight of XBLA and PSN. There is a lot of potential and in Nintendo believes they are ready for this Gen, they need to make their Online offerings just as good as what's out there
If your company lives to the next Generation, does it really matter who wins? Gamecube lost its Gen, yet we have the WiiU, 2 generations later (or is it one, people confuse me).
Long live the games
Introducing cut content would make it almost a new game
New visuals, new interface/controls, more gameplay, refined mechanics
Hopefully a reduced price will be in place as well
Amazon posts their own price, OMG NINTENDO OVERPRICING THEIR REMAKE
The last time I checked Amazon and Nintendo were completely different entities.
The one thing PC's will never be able to do is replace family/playroom entertainment, it will always be that hobby you play in the corner or in a separate room. Also PC's are mostly a single-person affair, yes there are plenty of people online to play with, but it will almost always be a one person to one screen ratio
Would rather they save Metroid Prime (or Metroid relation) for the end of E3, as it would seal their show. Much too big for a middle of the week tease
All I hope is the announcement is something "New" and not already revealed but with more information about it. I want surprises
I hope it's Virtual Console related. I know a big rumor was having Gamecube on the WiiU, which would be very big. Nintendo needs to match then beat Wii's offering, would attract some extra money and interest.
Still waiting for Watch Dogs for WiiU announcement
Sometimes being "stuck in the past" is a good thing for fans. I remember when Sonic Adventure 2 was added to XBLA reviewers gave it low scores saying "not much improvements over the original" and "the same old game" and all I could say was f*** yes because I loved the original so much. If you're looking for genre breaking, or innovated gameplay and seek out high scores you wil be disappointed, but if you want the same game you know and love, then perhaps you ...
I've "beaten" Super Mario Bros. 2, but not without the use of saves. Very demanding in execution and mechanics, also having to go through multiple warps that take you back worlds and actual dead ends (pipes that force you to kill yourself) makes it not for the faint of heart (almost silly using that phrase for a 2-D game from the 80's). While it's very difficult it's well designed in that with enough repitition and memorization you can beat it, difficult but fair.
More in the vein of Elder Schrolls, games like that. Like dungeons in any order, more freedom in interactions, wide variety of weapons and equipment. Think bigger
This has been my issue with the WiiU, was expecting there to be more support in the early months, but we will have to wait for March to get anything remotely special (I guess it's still their "Launch Window").
When Nintendo said they "learned" from their mistakes with the 3DS, I expected them to act faster. Once again they are slow on the draw. It feels like the WiiU should've been release this year, with how late games are coming.
The Gamecube Wavebird imo was the best, certainly the most comfortable. The battery pack made the controller nestle perfectly in you hand, and all the buttons were close enough that you never felt like you had to reach (though the Z-button was always weird to press)
I never like PS controllers, the set-up was always awkward, never felt good for shooters, just a weird controller in general for my tastes
Haven't tried the Wiipad (Target and Gamestop don...
Disney Infinity should spur some action. Would not surprise me in the slightest, given their record
I would expect MS to focus more on multi-media and online than power. Maybe have Kinect come with the system
Sony will be about power, MS about media, and Nintendo about gamepad
Just because a game may sacrifice some of its dedicated base for another playerbase, doesn't mean it can't be a good game. It may not be "True DeadSpace", but games aren't judged solely on how well they fit the franchise. It can be a great game, be still 70-80% DS, and receive a good score at the same
Gamepad as camera, seems like a no brainer (watch as people denounce it as a kiddie game that won't sell, just another milk of the Pokemon franchise)
Don't be so surprised. Sunshine is easily the hardest 3D Mario, Mario Galaxy 2 is more difficult than the first. Compared to 64 and Galaxy, Galaxy definitely has its hard points, though I found 64 has more of them
Also Mario Galaxy is easily one of the finer games of current gen, as for the 2nd.
3D Land is really easy, but still creative
Seeing how they recently merged their hardware divisions, it would make sense Miiverse would be an interhardware network, since the goal of the merge was to have higher synergy between handhelds and Consoles
League has such a diverse range of Characters, constantly increasing both quality and quantity of content, and a company that really caters to the fans.
There is a Champion for everyone, and the fact you can access the basics of all content for free with enough time is highly appealing. Also the fact it's the most played Internet game with one of the strongest competitive scenes makes it even more grand. It's both casual and hardcore at the same time, addictive in i...
Happening 2 days before the Sony event. Doesn't really matter because it's a Beta invite for only Japan.
They will like it I'm sure
