This article reminds me
New 2D Metroid Please
The word "clone" has loose meaning in the video game world. MonsterHunter is a "clone" of PhantasyStarOnline but with different mechanics and item sytem, you can't say they're identical in execution.
While you can say PSAS:BR was deeply inspired by Smash (which it was), you can't really justify the statement "It's just a poor/better copy of Smash"
The first time I played All-Stars I even tried playing it like Smas...
Whatever the outcome, Adam Orth is still a jerk
It was supposed to be a huge get as well. The graphics were supposed to be top notch (really show the WiiU could pull off "high end" graphics), the gamepad really put to use, but we all know how it turned out
It's a shame, the game really had potential overall
One of my better Steam picks, second to BioShock
Creative, clever, addicting, has that soul a lot of games lack. I'd recommend it highly myself
Gabe Newell is wary of pure Cloud gaming for the same reason why Always-On is dangerous. It's alright when a small portion of the population is part of a network, but as soon as millions are connected-in the network begins to suffer, there's only so much a technical system can take before it cracks. It's one thing to advocate logging in for benefits of being online, but to force a connection can only lead to feelings of resentment and unintended moments of sub-par performance. ...
Was there really no Mega Man (besides MM 9)?
Also a new Viewtiful Joe is a must (fingers crossed for a Smash Bros. appearance), same for a console StarFox
You can die in Mario fast
Seeing how few physical games are being released currently and the praise it's been getting from the Indie community, the WiiU is pretty ripe atm. There are releases for the eShop every week, tho I can't comment on their success
I still play Advance Wars, Days of Ruin from time to time on my DS
One of the few games I still play from it
Great series
Super Mario Bros. is the greatest game ever
Maybe not the best in your own opinion, but the greatest
I wouldn't expect the videogame pinball industry to be very lucrative, regular pinball is pretty niche in today's world
I didn't read this article as "oooooooo Pinball, so exciting -_-", rather "This man and company has carved their own profitable niche in the gaming industry despite not having a video game background, see what makes them special"
Just a nice little success story in a tumultuous market. Looks like they want exp...
EA isn't a part of GTA, are they?
Ok good, then there's a chance
Whoever makes the next Starfox, I want it to be somewhat dark and realistic graphics wise, more on the side of Snes cover art than say Assault. Metal Legs and everything
Having more than 2 players should nullify stats, just play because you want to play in a fun multiman FFA match. 1v1 would be the comptetitive match-up, since you have to fight sooner or later. Also competitive only on Stock match, don't want people getting one kill then evading for 2-3 minutes.
Have a "light" online mode: full items, 4 players, kill system, no stats
Then a "heavy" online mode: no items, 2 players, 5 stock, record stats
My only fear with it running off CryEngine3 is that my little ole laptop won't be able to handle it. Anything above Bioshock 1 is too much to handle (I'm assuming the Engine is both power and graphics, just going off my own, misinformed database here). Awesome this is being done, more developed than I have thought it would be
This series deserves better than it has been. Can't get more fun than TS
Still waiting for that 2D Metroid. Only reason I would buy a 3DS, tbh
They will never expect me to reveal ANOTHER Metal Gear game
This time, more realistic than ever
Nintendo is that guy at the poker table who checks at every bet. You can say he's got nothing and will never have anything, but until he bets high and shows his hand, you'll never know.
Nintendo kinda threw the WiiU out there without much direction. The WiiU has no buzz, it's irrelevant because they've made no second move. It's in its 1st phase of release, the "let's see how it does without really doing anything to promote it phase". When ...
They left out MegaMan ZX and it's sequel as well
At least I liked it anyway
