The fact it would be an original Bioshock (not Bioshock 1+2+Infinite) means it would be a pretty major undertaking, 2K and Irrational don't seem to be the type to be able fork over tons of cash on a risky game
Rather they bundle in sweet games than a Price Drop.
Does the PS4 have a dedicated space for the Share feature, something every player can see, not just friends? The allure of Miiverse is it involves the entire WiiU community to share in reviews and pictures. Miiverse could definitely use some video recording/playback that you could post.
I do agree that Miiverse hopes to be as widespread as Gaikai, I know Nintendo plans on extending Miiverse to phones and tablets, then expand from there. It will be interesting to see where Nin...
Miiverse definitely needs a video recorder/playback feature. It would be cool if players filmed themselves doing crazy stuff, posting videos of them doing it, then challenging others to do them. Players could even assign imaginary points for their "achievements", players vote to see if its worthy of the points, then it becomes unofficial in-game achievements, full of arbitrary points for fun.
They survived Gamecube, made bank on Wii, DS, and now hopefully 3DS. They've seen worse and have thrived for the past 7 years. Unless disaster strikes (like 20-35 million WiiU's at a loss) then I suspect Nintendo will make it past this Gen. It would take two consecutive failures to go software only, and at the very least they will have handhelds at their disposal
I'm calling it a lazy attempt because it wasn't a core effort. Move was just kinda there, it wasn't an intergal feature they were trying to push. Motion Control was all the rage, so they threw it out there
Maybe I'm wrong thinking they actually wanted to attract casual gamers, but to me it was a feature that was tacked on in order to meet the fad
The Wii was all about motion control, MS is touting the Kinect as a core way to play, Move just se...
They need to show a killer new IP, something I believe the Sony conference lacked (I do recall Knack, but I'm thinking something a bit more on the hardcore side). Not something we know about or a sequel, but something brand new.
If Sony supports Move like they did with the PS3 don't expect it to go anywhere. It was a lazy attempt to tap into the casual market, and I don't believe many gamers utilized it in games like Killzone 3.
I really do like motion control, it's too bad the Wii wasn't strong enough to get games like on the 360 and PS3.
For all the crap the WiiU gets about being not "next-gen" power, this does look pretty good for an optimized port
He knows his stuff, which is important
His appearance on Fox News awhile back was very well rehearsed. Sessler doesn't (****) around
Nintendo sees remakes as a way to reintroduce stellar titles to people who may not have experienced them. They aren't going to say "use an emulator, and they aren't just going to rehash the same game and visuals and call it a remake.
Nintendo has used remakes to support the DS and 3DS, which is the point the author is making. Early adopters aren't getting the best they should
MW2 had some of the best maps. One of the reasons I started playing MW3 again was to play Terminal
@knifefight: Androids don't have power levels
Check and mate
The best part about this game is it doesn't matter who your loyalties lie with, EVERY console is getting it (except for Wii, obv)
We all can revel in what should be an amazing game if the hype holds true
Has Levine ever let us down?
Super Luigi World
2D 16-bit stylized platformer with wacky gameplay options, out of place story, and trippy visual effects
This just in: The Playstation 4 is releasing in 'Rainbow' and 'Creamcicle'
People got what they wanted. They got confirmation the PS4 is cutting edge in current tech, they've sealed extensive third party commitment, and they have stuff to look forward to Day 1.
For me I'm just glad the PS4 is out there, tired of speculation and whatnot. Now it's time to see what MS has to show and if Nintendo has anything up their sleeves. Imo they did what they needed to in a just a few short hours.
I was a little underwhelmed when Diablo 3 was the game introduced. Can already play it on a PC, host to a bunch of lengevity problems, may not play as well as a PC (though all this could change).
Honestly for games like Destiny and Watch Dogs I was more interested in watching general footage than PS4 specifics. The more intersting aspect of the Blizzard section is what kind of exclusives will be born from the partnership, we shouldn't be too harsh on Diablo 3 (just a fi...
It has that Looney Toons appeal to it, which benefits multiple audiences. Kids will love the visuals and humurous occurences, older people will understand and appreciate the humor and jokes younger people might not get.
If you're starving for a physical game (which many are) its a good pick-up. Only core 1st party titles will save the WiiU imo, but at this moment its a good time for it to be released. Hopefully it will get some advertisement
