I'm glad Guitar Hero has met its hopefully long hiatus. They really should've stopped after GH5 and Band Hero, 'Warriors' was just a sad song. Maybe in 5+ years there will be another GH or RB, but its safe to say everyone from age 10+ is over it for the most part

That preview pic wasn't picked by accident

Could really care less either way

Halo really did them wonders. I attribute that game to why we have Xbox today

I loved the small environment effects, like how steam fogs up your visor, getting out of water or lava has a nice water/lava effect streaming down, and as you look up into the rain more drops hit your visor. The soundtrack alone is amazing, I listen to it every so often.

It's hard to find a flaw in this game (apart from maybe too much backtracking). The atmosphere is perfect, the graphics and effects are amazing, soundtrack is amazing, and showed that FPS's don'...

Some people are a little too obsessed with how much a brick wall looks like a brick wall. While the WiiU won't handle the graphics of the other consoles, I don't see how gameplay will have to suffer in bringing over a WiiU version. or creating a new title for it It's one thing when you could have Dead Rising on 360 and have a thousand zombies in one area but only a few hundred on the Wii, now there shouldn't be those kind of limitations (apart from maybe <.1% of games). <...

Gamers were told they were "investing" in the PS3 by spending $500-$600. Now should be the time to reap that investment

I hope we don't get multiple clones. Yeah Toon Link/Young Link/Dr. Mario are fun, but it really just limits the amount of diverse characters they can put in. Luigi and Ganondorf are good in they are different enough from their counterparts (Mario and Cpt Falcon respectfully)

Issac/Felix from Golden Sun and Lloyd from Tales would be much appreciated, they are from great Nintendo exclusive titles that could use some recognition. We might even see someone from Xenoblade, o...

As power from each generation to the next begins to flatline, there will need to be innovations in gameplay and player input to sustain the industry

If the Wii and WiiU could sell well with the graphics of its time then the industry would be a lot different. Hardware is currently limited (you have high innovatio/low power on one side, and low innovation/high power on the other), it's up to game developers to provide the innovation and make use of the power they have. ...

My guess is the jump to Kinect 2 will be like adding Motion+ to the Wiimote. What you always wanted, even if you did't want the original thing to begin with. I've always seen the Kinect as an add-on, instead of a full-fledged core hardware

As long as they don't say "delayed to coincide with the Xbox 360 release" I think we'll be good

"A delayed game is eventually good, a bad game is bad forever" -Miyamoto

(I'm not insinuating TLoU is currently bad in the slightest)

Platinum Games, one of the best developers this generation

Platinum Games is certainly one of the best developers to come about the last five or so years. And the fact they've made great titles for each of the Big Three is something we can all respect

What's important is replayability. If the kills are stylized and engaging enough, what's stopping you from doing it again?

Tales of Symphonia would be my suggestion. Its art style lends to some interesting possibilities, could use some more recognition, and is well worth it considering its length, content, and potential

Also, Resident Evil 4 anyone? jk

The idea behind the WiiU is expanding gameplay with the gamepad. If you have no desire to make a game utilizing it, your response might as well be why bother.

Hopefully some of Nintendo's 1st/2nd party productions show the strength of the WiiU. They need something to show prospective 3rd party developers that says "look at what you can do with the WiiU", something that shows Ultra grade Crysis 3 isn't everything

The major point of the system is another way to play using a gamepad. If you're looking for the same stuff but prettier, then the Orbis/Durango is for you. If the gamepad suddenly open your eyes to new possibilities, then you will like the WiiU and what it offers. While the higher power of the other systems may let you create your own Skyrims in Little Big Planet, most games can look and play well without top of the line specs.

They do, just not until Q3

I wouldn't call Pikmin 3 a game changer either

What was holding LBP back before? Seems like imagination of both players and developers is the most important factor (unless we're talking about huge game worlds)

The eShop is the WiiU's only really current bright spot. It's been pretty good so far.

As long as the quests don't get too repetitive, and they bring you to exciting places you may not have travelled to otherwise, Open World can be as big as they want to, as long as they keep my two requirements intact. While stroming a fort and killing weak NPC's for the 3rd time may be too repetitive, when one place is a vallet, another in the mountains, and the third by the water with a great view, the task doesn't seem as stale

It also helps when side-quests h...
