I know Banjo-Kazooie would never happen in Smash4, but Plz
The game has to handle over 100 onscreen characters at the same time with quality detail for each. The game looks amazing even for not being true 1080. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Because the DS, 3DS, Wii, and WiiU are so conventional. While they don't make new IP's every 4-6 months the one's they do are always stellar and sell remarkably well. Animal Crossing, WiiFit, Brain Age, WiiSports are all heavy success stories when Nintendo branches out
They have both quality and quantity, an excellent track record.
It's too bad ZombiU wasn't a success. There was a lot of marketing put into it, the kind of game more 3rd parties should be making for the WiiU (taking advantage of the gamepad)
The entire WiiU launch was poorly done, even Nintendo was kind of standing around with their hands in their pockets. Nintendo looks to continue what they did in the Wii era by creting unique experiences and games everyone can enjoy, Nintendo has their hands in a lot of games for the next 10 mo...
Once the shock that it isn't a true 3D Mario subsides I'm sure people will find it to be an amzing game. Fingers crossed for multiple paths and secret exits
The only concern I have is if single player will be near enjoyable as multiplayer, the game sees tailored to having multi-player madness
Didn't some people use similar language regarding DRM and used game sales? While it's possible to spin a positive out of it, at what cost to the overall benefit of gamers does it bring? While region locking benefits the manufacturers and publishers directly, the benefits we gain are hard to find, let alone if they even exist.
I find it odd systems have region locking in the first place. You would think consoles would be made to run any game made for the system, even i...
There's been 1-2 Indie releases on the WiiU since it's launch every week. I'm gonna need to go into the eshop with $60 and get 4 to 8 games
Is this technically an expansion or do you get access to older content as well? I know the game adds a bunch of cards, but if I've never bought a previous version I don't won't to just get new stuff
I don't know, I think "The Rest of Us" has some potential, though sometimes it's best to let a series rest. So many games get trilogies because the feel like they have to finish the story, it depends if ND feels like their story with TLoU is complete
This is one of the hardest games I've ever played. The first run through is brutal.
Isn't Nintendo the one putting up a lot of money for both games (since they wouldn't have been made without Nintendo's help)? The idea behind them being esxclusive is only Nintendo wanted to risk producing them (it's not like someone would turn down a free opportunity to publish a game), Nintendo knows they can't wait for people to take notice (I mean look at the launch of the WiiU)
Hopefully when they're done talking about Pikmin 3 they'll move on...
I'm not sure it's the people under him that are the reason for their recent problems
If they introduced an enticing bundle or increased the internal memory I'd buy one now.
Or a red WiiU, that would be awesome.
Look out for Wonderful 101. It's underhyped with good previews
Most gamers seem to love it, even if you are an Xbox fan it's hard to deny the PS4 is a good gaming system. In the entertainment/electronic industry popular products tend to catch on like fire, if initial launch reactions to PS4 are good then there is the chance it will catch on to the rest of potential consumers
Q:This may be the same answer, but I need to ask. Some people are wondering will we see a new Zelda - a new 3D Zelda for Wii U. Is there any new Zelda news?
A:We're also working on a new Wii U Zelda game. That's coming along; work on that is progressing fairly concretely. In fact, we were thinking of showing it here at E3 but decided to wait just a little bit longer before showing it to everyone.
This is also interesting look into Miyamoto's IP ph...
Destiny? I can dream can't I?
“most of them (3rd party) were converted from other platforms and therefore could not enjoy brisk sales. As a result, some software developers have become pessimistic about Wii U.” This is very true, few have really tried to make the WiiU a "must have" (Ubisoft is the first to come to mind who has)
It's funny because the first thing I wanted to do when I demoed a WiiU for the first time was play just on the gamepad. Also everyone overlooks the existence of TVii. MS spent alot of time boasting about the TV bonus' of X1 when you have Nintendo casually slide in the ability to watch, save, and interact with your TV/recording devices through the WiiU.
One thing tLoZ has always had is the ability to name Link whatever you want. When you have to script names you have to keep every name static. While Link may be his official name it's a throwback to the OG's of gaming to keep it text based with the freedom of naming main Characters.
There's a storytelling aspect of reading text because you naturally assign voices to the characters. Text based communication is a dieing breed, from a gaming generation long ago. It&...
Zelda seems to be in kind of a funk, just because it's had declining sales and hasn't been the innovative force it has been in the past (at least the console versions). Then again 3.5 million is nothing to scoff at.
It would be one thing if their games were mediocore, but you can be sure you're getting your money's worth with every game, their games average above 90. Their games sell incredibly well compared to other IP's. Brawl sold 10 million, Mario Kart...
