Sounds pricey. I'm considering building a new desktop at some point, but I don't see the point in buying this, the 780 is already overkill for most things and futureproof for a good while. Heck, so is the 760 I suppose if you stay at 1080p.
I was watching a bluray two nights ago, paused it for about 10-15 min and when I resumed playback it ran fine for half a minute and then stopped completely.
I stopped playback, returned to the menu and concidered using the PS3, but gave it another shot and it was fine.
Seems a firmware update or two is in order.
Reasons: 1. This game benefits little from more than a steady 30.
2. Graphics sell, performance can't be shown in ads and pictures.
Some concider generations by the calendar, not hardware, meaning the games released before November could all be considered "last gen" and future Wii U titles are part of the new generation.
I neither agree nor disagree with this, as I believe it to be a gray-area during this crossing-time.
For instance, what generation does Splinter Cell Blacklist belong to? It was released a little while ago, before PS4 and XO, but Wii U was released by then and ...
I have the PC version too, and although I can't remember her looking that pale, the new head looks notably much better graphically speaking. Not that the PC version with high settings look bad, at all.
There's a difference in facial expression, with her looking more vulnerable in the old look, but that could be just the screenshot.
What can be said for sure is that the skin looks way better and more natural. The mouth looks more natural, the eyes more detailed and the hair seems to have a more saturated texture of higher quality. Overall I'd say the new look makes the old seem like last gen.
I just hope the other people don't look dated in comp...
Higher res textures and better shaders on PS3. And then there's the weird difference in colour, which could be from the capture and would wary from screen to screen anyway. Though that is a big difference in skintone.
I would probably go with the Vita, because I'd rather have this on a handheld.
Because it's got games, great games.
Don't Starve isn't a PC exclusive, it's on Playstation as well.
Do we know if it's worldwide or limited to certain regions?
Motherfuckers. Nothing good comes out of this sort of thing.
Stop bullshitting yourselves, it felt dared years ago.
Do you not stop to think that maybe you having not played those games, speak more about you than him?
There's some excellent games on that list.
You're making it hard for me to give you money, Nintendo.
It's barely been half a week, so no reason to freak out yet.
The red guy from Wonderful 101 with a little crew of helpers could be cool. It would also be adding a new character from the Wii U generation.
Birdo, she's in everything else so let's get her shooting eggs again.
Kamek, for his magic capabilities.
Shulk, representing the Wiis more hardcore scene.
Chrom, representing the 3DS and Fire Emblem instead of Ike. Although I'd like to see a heavy armoured character from FE...
I wonder how an i5 would fare. That's more comparable to what goes in consoles than an i7.
Super Mario 3D World is the prettiest new gen title so far in my opinion. Not in terms of advanced graphical features, but in art and framerate it's second to none. There's nothing made solely to say "look what we can do", every form has its function and that makes it beautiful in my eyes. And then there's the music.
Oh no, a faulty consumer electronic!
I can't even begin to imagine what Angry Birds will be like on this baby!
The reflections demo looked good, the rest wasn't very impressive. I wonder how much power it uses compared to other mobile offerings, you'd need a big battery.
That OUYA 2 though... :-P
