I hope it doesn't end up looking a bit weird like LA Noire.
There are many differing opinions, I don't think the answer has been found yet as it's not the eye, but the brain that's the deciding factor.
I wonder how high the framerate could be until the animations no longer benefit.
I don't want to pick sides here, simply correct you. Texture resolution =/= resolution of the rendered frame. At all.
Well, Atlus is struggling and the Persona series is its high-card, so it's playing it as much as possible. Hopefully P5 will be a royal flush.
Using an MSATA SSD has become a convention in laptop-design due to it's advantages and conveniece. It's far from unrealistic and this was a wish not a demand from my side. I'm just saying it would have put an ace up their sleeve. This NAND memory sounds volatile so it's not the same, but could give similar advantages. The 5400RPM harddrive in the PS4 is its worst bottleneck, and this would have helped offset that by opening another (superfast) tap.
Do you want...
The price could have stayed the same and Sony may have still earned money or sold it breaking even. It may have increased it by ten to twenty bucks, I wouldn't call that steep.
And Sony is marketing it at me, because I'm part of their target audience as a PS3, Vita and Xperia owner with a music unlimited and playstation plus subscription who buys their products and a lot more games than average.
Don't talk to me about common sense, you do realis...
I suppose it looks better than if the camera was set at an angle. But that's what I thought they'd done.
Dropping the name makes no sense, not using a number but rather a subtitle is likely.
I don't care about a slight up in price, I'm more interested in futureproofing. 30GB of Msata SSD costs about 65 USD, now imagine the price Sony would pay in bulk. They could probably get away with less than 30GB as well. This would give a notable boost in performance across the board and could be very useful for recording. It takes almost no space, produces little heat and drain little power.
I'll assume the disagrees are either Sony fanboys mistaking me for mock...
Very clever and a proven great design by PCs. I wish Sony had put an SSD for OS level stuff in PS4.
It's hopefully not Android unless they make a new build from scratch. It's such an unoptimised OS.
@Wonderfulmonkeyman: I know, but I'm not using /s, it ruins the point. Still, you a handful other people got it, that's enough for me.
No, we only like colourful games for children with kiddy graphics and motion-control.
It's a launch title, and by Crytek. What did you expect? There always a couple bad games at launch and this has been destined to be one for a long time.
XO still has the better line-up though, with Dead Rising 3 and Forza 5.
That does look pretty good, 60FPS as well is impressive.
I'm playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 @ 480p right now. It's awesome.
Correct! Ten points.
If you are a platform fan and a pussy then Super Mario 3D Land is for you.
Apples and oranges.
