Respawn has no motive for lying, it's not like people can't tell if the textures change or not.
But what about the PS4 wobble?! :-P
Neither system had finished toolsets for developers in time for launch, but Sony was further along. Tools are rarely, if ever, at a good state for launch anyway as they're continually improved throughout the lifecycle.
Can. Not. Wait.
Cool, but I live in Europe...
UK postage only. Damn!
I wonder if the Ps4 version would be better off with a solid 30FPS and the inclusion of tessellation and better AA... You know, I think it would be.
And Tress FX needs to be seriously improved in terms of performance, I still don't think it's really worth it.
Congratulations on pulling all those numbers out of your arse.
@Lucas: Is that gif for real? I wasn't expecting much of a notable difference, but that's pretty huge all things considered. Pretty much every texture looks better, and the water looks a fair step up on the PS4.
Meh, I'd rather have Left 4 Dead 3 and Portal 3. Though I'd prefer a new IP.
@georgenoob; have you been using compressed video for your comparison? Get a game running on a Pc with a 1080p monitor or an HDTV and change the resolution between the two, if you still can't see the difference then you need your eyes checked. Seriously.
But a 720p render can still look very good if there's good filtering and anti-aliasing.
The ad with the voice over is terrible, his voice doesn't even fit slightly with the tone of the visuals and music.
Beta. Obvious sarcasm is obvious.
I just hope it's open on PC.
I can't wait to see something from this studio. Microsoft has needed a new first party giant, hopefully Black Tusk is up to the job and will show off some cool stuff at E3.
I'm excited for their future, and I haven't owned an Xbox sonce the first one.
Is Pachter seriously getting paid for making simple, and often obvious guesswork? An octopus could do his job, and it'd actually be worth reading about.
If the Xbox One could play 360 games properly I'd run out and buy one right now. But PCs... That means glitches and bugs and a heap of unsupported games. I'm pretty much over third-party emulation.
I'd rather have emulation for the original Xbox on PC, so I could play Jet Set Radio Future in HD. Make a remaster Sega, I double dare you!
Is that screen-tearing? Face and bleakness is a shame, but I'd still buy this on the double for PC.
But the 3DS doesn't have a SIM-card slot!
Anyway, the games aren't open enough for me to be bothered. I want it to be fully open world and with more action based combat. Basically Dragons Dogma with cats instead of annoying pawns.
As a wise man once said:
"If your girl starts acting up, then you just take her friend!"
Not much point in continuing the series on the PSP is there?
Dynamic refreshrate is soon to be a standard in monitors as the new upcoming standard of displayport supports it. This will mean it'll be commonplace in the not too distant future. Nvidia simply gets a head start.
