As long as it doesn't forcefully push them at me I might be okay, but this sucks. You'd think the large amount of planned DLC would be enough.
Sucker Punch says hi.
Oh, it's happening. But it won't be released alongside the PC version. It'll be further down the line.
Do you point the Kinect at the screen to use as a sensor? That sounds stupid, so it must be a manual calibration as you need a sensor for it to be automatic.
Every launch has its stinkers, this seems pretty good as far as those go.
Optimisation is shown when consoles are compared with PCs of equivalent specs, not by comparing with top-end parts. It's not like they gain additional cores and threads over time.
Hopefully the graphics will be improved. I have the Windows 8 version (yes, it's playable with a 360 controller), and at 1080p the backgrounds don't hold up very well as they're mostly 2D. You can tell it's made to be seen on a small screen.
Yes, we demand it!
I want a Mario game even more like 64. Where the levels stay mostly the same, but there's multiple stars to collect in each one.
It sucks, but just one of those pillows you stick under furniture on it and it'll be fine. I use them under my PS3 to reduce noise from vibrations.
My PS4 will be using the vertical stand for a while first, as I don't have enough room with the PS3 connected. So when I do eventually place it horizontal I'll probably be like "da fuq?".
No, Ready at Dawn is working on The Order.
I've pre-ordered a PS4, but if Microsoft can dish out some solid first-party titles I'm likely to get One when there's a slim edition.
I'd rather have one big screen or projector, this looks like it'll be annoying to use.
@Pixelsword, I'm not even sure how that is a reply to me... I don't have GDDR5 in my GPU so you're not even close to bursting my bubble, whatever that meant. But you have confused me, and I'll assume you meant to reply to someone else.
You can't expect Sony to use technology still in development in their system though can you? PS3 will last ten years and it's memory is laughable by today's standard.
Wow, now imagine what numbers Mario will sell.
I don't quite understand what's taking so long, the emulator is already done (could do with some options though) and since they own the rights to most of the games we want they just need to get the roms out. Maybe they still need to get some licencing done that takes a lot of time.
@Studio-YaMi: I couldn't remember if the resolution had been confirmed to be 1080p or not, but that it was higher than 720p. So I just played it safe with a 900p or higher.
Still, it was expected that the Wii U wouldn't match next gen, but it's nice to see it separate itself from the current sister-systems.
Textures make a big difference from the screens and gameplay I've seen, then there's weather effects, pop-in and more advanced physics as well. But it does look good on all platforms.
Grinding for money.
