I must say I'm the same with my Move controller, I had a lot of fun with it at the start but it hasn't been used in a while. Kinect I just haven't bought because I haven't seen any games that would make me want to buy it, at least not yet anyway.
What I need is games to motivate me to use it. The same reason my PSP doesn't get a lot of love, there's nothing new to motivate me to play it...the last time there was is when GOW was released on it.

I think being out a year earlier (18 months earlier in Europe) and being generally cheaper had a lot more to do with Microsoft gaining market share than Sony's choice of CPU did.
The PS2 was also heralded as having an architecture that was unfriendly to developers and it didn't do so bad.
Point is, internal components don't really have much to do with what you said about MS' gains in market share apart from certain components driving up the pr...
I can't see them using the same kind of architecture for the PS4.
Look at the Vita, they had engineers talking to software people so that they made a device that is dev friendly. With the issues and criticisms some devs have made of the PS3 architecture I think it's obvious that they will have hardware engineers talking to software people for the PS4.
And yes I know that good devs can code just fine on the cell like the 1st party studios etc. but maki...
Totally agree, anyone that owns the console already has probably played them but newcomers interested in either of those franchises would get a great deal and an awesome induction into the respective series.
Those would be some kick ass bundles.
It's almost too good to be true.
If it is though then wow, really awesome deal right there.
Yet another reason as to why we should ignore fanboys in general
Like I said I used to be all about GT, me and my friends would swap memory cards and share cars etc. in a massive way but my gaming tastes changed over time, PS2 days was all about GT, FIFA and GTA for me.
Nowadays I rarely if ever touch a FIFA game, have moved on from racimg sim games....still like some GTA though...even if 4 was a let down for me....I still have the PS2 era GTA's on Steam :)
I used to get into these arguments myself, not so much on GT vs Forza but certain exclusives vs other certain exclusives, mainly because I always loved an argument on the internet.
I've realized though that it really doesn't matter, you could apply the same logic to any competing exclusive be it Halo vs Killzone or Gears vs Uncharted (though still don't know why people pit those two against each other, TPS vs Action Adventure).
If you have only o...
You know I'm going to be honest here and say I don't care which of the two is best anymore.
I got a REALLY good deal on the collectors edition of Forza 3 and never played it as I didn't fancy a racing SIM, I bought the collectors edition of GT5 and played it a little bit only to realize that I'm not really into racing sim's anymore. I was into GT in a BIG way in the PS1/2 days but I guess I've grown out of it. I like the occasional arcade type racer. ...
I've just never got around to installing a larger HDD in there, I'm still rocking an 80 gig HDD and deleted a lot of old game data from installs to saves even to PSN games you no longer play and have LOADS of room on there still so that mandatory installs aren't an issue.
It's amazing how much data you collect on there over the years and 5 minutes cleaning it out means you've no worries for installs. Every PC needs a bit of housekeeping, PS3 is just anothe...
I built myself a nice new gaming rig last month so I'll be picking this and any multi plats up on my PC, an investment for multi plats considering the PC version is usually cheaper (and Steam is awesome) and I then still have my PS3 and 360 for the exclusives I want to be playing.
With all the games coming out it really is an amazing time to be a gamer, if only I had more free time lol!!
As for the mandatory install, 1.6GB isn't bad. I just cleared up...
I wouldn't argue the factual basis of his comments especially after hearing how thins like cross game chat aren't possible due to the PS3's memory but as I've said in my own post, I look at games that have come before RAGE and see how well they run and it makes you wonder, even with the limitations he speaks of why could they not achieve the same level of performance as other devs have on PS3?
Not like it's only PS3 exclusives that achieve it, plenty of m...
I don't doubt his comments about memory and that being tight and that but something just screams at me that their engine and processes aren't using the PS3 architecture optimally. I mean you look at how the performance of some other PS3 games are, particularly the exclusives and these kinds of comments just seem a little bit of an excuse.
It's not like it's just the PS3 either, the PC version was pretty bad when it launched too and it is the platform that Carm...
I think Sony are mostly to blame for this, there are much worse games that sell much better because of marketing. My TV is always on when I'm at home and I can't say I've really seen any ads for R3.
Which is a shame because it's actually a very very good game.
Yeah the statement does sound silly but when you consider the fact that cross game chat is technically impossible on the PS3 it does make sense.
Perhaps he should have said "We know everybody wants it on PS3 but since that isn't possible we're doing it on the Vita". That would have sounded a lot more sensible.
Sorcery looks awesome, it should have released a long time ago, it really could have been that early killer app to get people into Move much sooner and get more early momentum going.
Sony will have done this because they lost a lot of consumer confidence over the hack on PSN.
This announcement is to try and regain trust by saying "Hey, we've detected people trying to get illegal access to PSN accounts (though they didn't get people's details from us) but our improved security has caught this and we've stopped it, if you're effected we've let you know and if you reset your details you can get back in, oh and wise yourself up an...
I absolutely agree on the part about the PS3 not being built with it in mind, or if it was then there wasn't a hell of a lot of thought put into it.
And yeah features on the Vita will no doubt be in the PS4, it's be ridiculous not to.
I can see Blu-Ray being the media format too and like you said just better drives at the very least. It was a new format and one of the first type of drives so no doubt by the time the PS4 comes out there will be better ...
That game you're talking about is called Tumble and it is really cool and shows off what Move can do.
It also happened to give me quite a lot of fun for a while too!
As to your comment about Move being better than Kinect....I think Move is more versatile. For instance you can do everything in a game like KZ3 or Socom or R3 with it. You can play a core game well using only those controllers whereas Kinect simply can't.
They've take...
