To me it's not a good deal at all but I think what they are doing is aiming this at people who might want a 360 but having the cash up front is a problem for.
I think there are definitely people out there who fall into that bracket and will go for it. Of course I never would simply because it's a bad deal in my eyes but I can appreciate that for some this will be an easy way of getting into Xbox gaming.
BUT, here is the big thing for me. I'm prett...
Sony will broadcast their press conference on the blog and in PS Home like last year.
Pretty sure MS streamed their own conference on xbox.com last year.
As for the rest I'm sure IGN will have a little studio set up on the floor with a whole bunch of stuff too.
Meh the story isn't amazing at all but I always found it fun enough to compliment the gameplay very well. Though yeah the stories in the game isn't going to be winning any awards.
Gears games are fun, that's really all I care about with a game. Do I have fun? If the answer is yes then money well spent.
I love me some God of War, if it is as good as GOW3 I'll be more than happy handing over my money.
Yeah places like shopto.net are normally much cheaper than GAME though I did like building up some reward points and did like having a brick and mortar option for the occasional impulse purchase.
This was posted further up, seems to be a pretty good counter argument against the opinion of someone clearly out of his area of expertise.
Then you have just plain old common sense to tell you he's just plain wrong in his opinion. People are absolutely entitled to opinions but it doesn't mean they're right.

I'd love to see what Santa Monica could do with Heavenly Sword. It could be amazing.
For me "real" gamers play games they enjoy and just get on with enjoying them.
I strongly disagree that only extremists care about exclusives. As someone that owns a gaming PC, a PS3, a PS Vita and an Xbox 360 and don't consider myself any kind of extremist I absolutely love exclusives.
I find that most of the time exclusives are superb games because the developer is only working on one piece of hardware and are just in general great games. Th...
All they need to do is have a built in power supply rather than have people cough up for a play and charge kit.
That and build a proper D-Pad on it. The rest of the controller is fine the way it is, it's comfortable to use and functional (functional apart from the D-Pad).
Someone else in this article suggested button mapping, I think that would be a great feature but that would really need to be done within the games to allow that kind of customisation. ...
That was actually the first thing I thought of when they announced the rear touch pad as a feature
Probably not as stupid as you are for making that comment after the point went way over your head.
Either that or you're a really bad troll.
Best promotion for a game, EVER!
I can't see this being true, I think they'd much rather evolve how Kinect works with the console rather than flat out copy Nintendo's Wii U controller system.
"If there’s one thing that many, many PS3 owners have been longing for, it was Dropbox support on their consoles."
Lol really? I can honestly say that after being an internet troll since before the PS3 even existed, this would be the first time I have ever seen anyone even mention Dropbox and PS3 in the same sentence.
Is it a cool by-product of the browser being upgraded? hell yes it is. One feature many, many PS3 owners have been longing for? I don...
Personally I very much enjoyed the SP mode of Battlefield 3, the MP was pretty damn fun too.
Those buying the game new won't care. Personally I've never understood waiting a few weeks or whatever to save a paltry amount of money on a game.
Twisted Metal is going to be a very online focused game too so people are easily going to get a ton of replay value out of it.
I don't get all the hate this reboot is getting, or the hate on the look of Dante in the game either.
Is the concept of this being a younger Dante, and telling a story of Dante's life BEFORE he became the Dante we know from the original games really so hard to grasp?
I haven't read all the interviews these guys have given but I am interested to see what they do with it and at least give the game a chance. If it sucks it sucks, if not then awesome....
Nice to read a compliment between competitors.
I think that not only have Sony done it to make a bit of money but most of these remakes coincide with the release of a new entry into these franchises, some haven't done that but others indeed have which is a good way to get people interested in the new games immersed in the franchise and a good way to make a quick buck since these HD remakes don't take much to do.
A shame MS aren't doing something s...
I think you've missed my point here.
My point is that if you work in a store that sells things, employees should have at least a basic knowledge and familiarity of what they sell.
Someone working in a store that sells video games and accessories should know that an accessory clearly marked Xbox 360 is designed for that console and not for a PS3. The person who accepted that return at the very least is in need of a bit of training.
Surely ...
I hope it does end up selling really well, it's really an awesome gaming machine and there are already some awesome games for it. Just need some more!
